The guys at Melbourne Event Hire were amazing. We decided to go with another company for a short notice party. They promised the world, but caused many more headaches and anxiety with their unreliability. I cancelled them and Called Ali short notice. He came in, set up quickly and took all his equipment the next day around my schedule. Super efficient, nice guys, no complaints. I would use them again and recommend MEH to my friends.

I have been using this service for over 3 years. I call last minute, have lots of requests nothing is to hard or too much. Extremely helpful, prompt, professional and cares about any event I am trying to throw either with notice or not. I can’t recommend Melbourne Event hire enough. They are super efficient, affordable and quite frankly excellent!! Thank you guys for saving me again this year and see you in 2021!!

Excellent equipment, service, and cheap prices. This is an excellent option if you need extra tables/chairs for events small or large. The owner is excellent to communicate with. Instead of paying for equipment you hardly use, I'd suggest using this company.

Does not reply. Sent an enquiry online. No reply for a week. Tried texting. Nothing. Tried calling. Finally got an answer. They said to text. Tried texting. No reply for a week. Tried texting again. No reply for days. Tried calling again. Voicemail. Tried calling again voicemail. Then a text saying to ‘please text’. So I tried texting again another 4 times over another week. No reply. How would I ever believe that you would ever turn up to a booking if you don’t reply to people. Not worth the risk regardless of how cheap it is. Pretty rude to ignore all messages.

Products were great but their entitled attitude and lack of customer service definitely wasn’t. Communication and the way they talk to clients needs to be improved because i didn’t appreciate how i was spoken too or their complaints about having to do ‘back and forth’ communication with their clients. Its really disappointing to see someone in the event industry complain about having to clarify issues with their customers who are paying them a lot of money. Responses were also very slow. I don't think ill be a returning customer and i really hope in future, these issues are improved.
