We have had a terrific experience with this clinic - from the psychologists themselves to the admin team, Emma in particular has been great to deal with. Assessment reports etc are very thorough. Highly recommend!

I was charged a full priced session on the basis that the psych I was seeing didn’t see the benefit in Telehealth sessions and would refuse to provide this despite a positive Covid test. I have now been charged again for a session that I said I would be unlikely unable to attend within the policy timeframe as my psych did not offer the option of Telehealth and wouldn’t be able to attend in person. Despite not actually confirming this appointment and suddenly the facilitation of Telehealth could be an option which I of course assumed would not be an option but suddenly would be? (understandably causing me confusion around the non negotiable charge for the other session). There is very little care to the individual with the team here and would highly recommend avoiding given the psychology provided barely meets par to equate for the lack of empathy in the other areas of the practice.

When raised concern directly to the practice the response I get is: We don't have obligation to respond. If you want to discuss please make an appointment - Of course there is price comes with each appointment. - How amazing is that!More accurately that's first time when I raised concern. The second time... Oh we forgot to ring you back. We have removed you from our system! Problem solved!!!

The whole team at Capital Psychology Clinic are amazing! The administration staff are friendly, responsive and always willing to help you in anyway they can. The staff my family have and continue to engage with deliver a child/family focused service displaying professionalism and integrity. They have worked within a systems approach to empower my children to be the best people they can be. I would highly recommend Capital Psychology Clinic to families of the ACT.
