These items and our boxes all arrived safely. I am moving from Darwin to Perth and I hired Grace for the removal. The crew was excellent, they were punctual, polite, well presented, focused on the tasks and hard working. I strong recommend Grace.

Grace Darwin staff don’t appear to have any knowledge or training regarding international shipping. At quoting stage we were assured our shipment would absolutely arrive in NZ within 14 weeks (“heaps of time!”) however it was held for 3 months in Adelaide (supposedly to reduce storage fees at the other end) which was way too long - allowing only 1 week to cross the Tasman and clear Customs. It took 7 weeks - which is pretty standard, so why did Grace sales staff in Darwin not allow for this? We were in an unfurnished house for 6 weeks wondering when our shipment would arrive and having to chase Grace for updates - they didn’t want to call us or provide any information. We were also asked for several thousand dollars in additional fees as soon as the contract was signed, and several items were poorly packed and damaged. Huge headache, won’t use them again.

I was very happy with the service we received. Narelle and Kimberley in Darwin were fantastic and always returned correspondence quickly. The team in Brisbane who delivered our furniture were super efficient and did the unloading super quickly and carefully.My only small issue was that my pickup in Darwin was very late (I was expecting an arrival between 11.30 and 12.30, and they didn't arrive until 14.45). There seemed to be some issue contacting the drivers as no one was able to give me an updated time. This did then have quite a significant impact as I was leaving Darwin the next day and was banking on having my afternoon to complete the last jobs needed. However, in the grand scheme of things everything got done and everything made it safe and sound! I would definitely recommend Grace and we would definitely use them again for another move.

I really enjoyed moving with Grace. The service was excellent: friendly, prompt, flexible and reliable. I was assisted in the lead up to my move and the staff dealt with multiple changes to my consignment very professionally. During my uplift the staff were timely, communicated clearly, and made the process run smoothly. The staff went above and beyond to get my fridge and dining table through a rather narrow doorway at my delivery address. They were friendly, calm, careful and committed as they problem-solved. Receiving a call after my move to make sure everything went well was a delight, and I only had positive things to say. I was very impressed with the service from Grace - thank you to all. While I could have completed this move, which was small in volume and distance, more cheaply through other means, I am pleased to have had such an easy and smooth move because I moved with Grace. I can only imagine the stress Grace would save me for a larger move.
