Mega Bike

Overcharged, under delivered.I took my bike for a service. Straightaway they started pointing out issues and sprouting prices. Not in a friendly way.Anyway picked picked up the bike after their $145 service. Gears still didnt change properly and crank is creaking worse than ever. So they never took it for a test ride. Waste of money. Go anywhere else.Hi Roxanne, I havent posted for 4 months as i couldnt be bothered. And i didnt bring it back because with simple things, i dont give second chances...

Great bike shop. Very helpful staff, beautiful bikes. Have purchased many a spare tube here. Good range of drink bottles and other accessories here too.

I have had the great pleasure of purchasing two bikes from Claud and Roxanne at Mega Bike. Both of these machines have and are my dream bikes. A Bianchi Infinito CV & an OltreXR3. Claud came in on a day off to do a bike fit for me. I had no idea why i was having some much trouble on the bike prior to this Bike Fit. Riding became pain free and therefore much more fun again. Shortly afterwards i purchased my OltreXR3. I was not able to make it to Adelaide but Claud was able to fit me out using the measurements, skills, knowledge and his abilities to have the bike setup so it was ready to ride straight out of the box. Mega Bikes staff make all of the difference and if i can ever get the opportunity to purchase another Bianchi in the future my first and last stop will be Mega Bike.

I looked around Adelaide for a bike shop for a while - was completely ignored in some and barely acknowledged in others. Sometimes bike shops feel like a boys club and are intimidating for women. The warm welcome I received at Mega Bike made me a loyal Mega Bike Member and I have been for over 10 years now.

Fantastic shop that has been around forever it seems. Very much focused on the cycling community and providing more than just the bike sales and accessories experience.I have bought multiple bikes from them over the years, and always prefer to buy accessories and spares from them where possible.I have been on the Mega-bike Tour of Bright" three times now and the experience provided in the Victorian Alps really is so good you keep wanting to go back. I won't be going next year - because I'm stepping up and doing the Fondriest tour of the Dolomite and Italian Alps next year. Reviews from the Mega-bike community for past tours to Italy are even better than the Bright tour

I have been going to Megabike for over 20 years now and can very highly recommend them. Great service and they suggest to you what is right for you, not just the most expensive bike in the shop.I have also done a few tours with Megabike and they have been absolutely awesome!!

I'm glad that I popped in here for my first bike in Australia and on my second day in Adelaide. Arthur has been so helpful and patient to assist me in choosing the right bike and accessories. Not intimidating at all. Now I am looking forward to receiving the bike next week after a full test-out. I think I'm gonna go there from time to time for maintenance or pump-ups.

Very nice people but were very quick to recommend a triathlon bike bag that they claimed to use themselves a lot. While it is a very nice bike bag my large framed bike doesn't fit in it. So they really don't know their product as well as they thought. Especially since I am 6 foot 3 so obviously use a large framed bike. Over $600 for a bag you kinda expect to get something that does what it is supposed to. I guess it is a lesson in doing ones own research!

Wide range of bikes, especially Bianchi. Claud and the team are informative, friendly staff without being pushy. Comprehensive bike fits with exceptional product knowledge. Definitely give these guys a try, Adelaide's best (and independent) bike shop.

Great bike shop, but it's a little on the pricey side. The people are nice and they will go the extra mile for you, but expect to pay more on the price on your items. For example, Maxxis Re-Fuse are 39.95 here and 29.95 across the road.
