Had an overheating problem, took it to Trevor (the owner) and we spent a good few hours diagnosing it. Thermostat was fine, fan switch and relays were fine, everything was holding pressure and the car was running fine (would only overheat sometimes in very hot weather with A/C on).We narrowed things down and decided it was the radiator - it was really clogged (23 years old without proper maintenance). We tried fixing it but it was too old and the crimp strips weren't holding the upper tank down properly. Trevor helped me find a brand new Koyo radiator for a very good price and had it installed.Trevor really knows what he's doing, and unlike many other places, doesn't just jump to conclusions and makes you waste money replacing parts that don't need replacing (and hence more $$$ out of your pocket). He follows a very good diagnosis process to get to the actual cause of the problem and makes sure that the problem is FIXED. (Replacing the radiator actually fixed 2 or 3 other problems the car was having) - I was blown away with how well my money was spent.A very refreshing change from the fraudulent and dodgy mechanics I've had experiences with. Ring him up and spend some time looking at your car with him. He is very knowledgeable and friendly and you will definitely learn a few things or two as he goes over your car.

They're now part of Canning Automotive with a broader range of the things they handle. I got my radiator replaced (old hose spigot had broken off!) and they were great. Got a quote at ~ 2:30pm, picked up my car ~ 2 hours later with a new radiator fitted.Best of all the job came in at the low end of their quoted range. Nice!

These guys are awesome i flew into perth to buy a van and took it to them with suspected radiator leak. He checked over the entire engine and recommended the leak wasnt that bad and could fix it but wouldnt bother until u need more work done. Really good on price and is willing to go out of his way to help you out. Definetly reccomend these guys. !!!!!!

Needed an opinion on a crusty old radiator for a classic car.Although they could have taken us for an expensive ride to get it recored / refurbished the honest response was that it was not worth fixing up and a new one is needed.Now associated with Canning Automotive - if this is the great experience that can be expected we will be looking at them for the next service!
