Saw James Reyne and crew, place was packed, air-con not coping, sound mixing a shocker. Much better venues for live music elsewhere. Brunswick Ballroom etc.

Maybe I just came on an unlucky night. The sound quality wasn't the best and I struggled to hear the vocals. It was dangerously warm in there, not helped by being so packed in there was no room to breathe. I know the venue was sold out but people were sardines all the way out to the door where you couldn't even see the stage. Speaking of not seeing the stage. What's with the pole right in front of it?Melbourne has many great venues but I felt unsafe, hot, and claustrophobic in this one.

I came here for an after show (after the listen out festival) to see Doja Cat. She came outside before the show and talked to the crowd/sang with the crowd from the balcony. Very intimate setting for the concert which I love. I could see her from all angles at 5”1 this is important to me.

I was at this venue for Maggie Lindemann, last night and to be honest, I don’t think it is the best venue for live music. There were many people placed in a spot where they couldn’t see the stage at all, me being one of those people. It was also very claustrophobic with the amount of people that were in the room and it was sold out which means there was 950 people in the one space. I think the owners of this venue need to decrease their capacity, because there a venues like “forum” that hold about 1,000 people and it much bigger. I also couldn’t hear her singing very well.

Most staff were fantastic - but we left 20 mins later than the crowd as we went backstage to see someone we knew. When we left the security team were all drinking in the booths at the bandroom and one yelled at us to “f off” as we headed to the text, and was then shushed by the rest of their team. Pretty disappointing end to the night and makes you not want to come back.

Nice performance space, feels very close to the performer while having a capacity of about 900 I think, nice balcony space as well and two bars, as well as booth seating

Good live venue to watch bands. Bar prices very reasonable. The Arts from Sydney and Faster Pussycat (USA)

Great spot for a live concert. The doorman says 900 tonight and tomorrow solar out for Maisey Peters. Awesome.

Great food and coffee but really slow service. I waited 30 mins for a take away coffee and sandwich. Average 20 min wait for take away coffee every day. I am a local regular.
