My architect recommended Ian Adam to me and he was very informative and helpful.Fee are very reasonable as well.Jamie helped me application process. He always followed up and replied email very quick. Highly recommend their service.

We have a small lot at Sandgate and were apprehensive about obtaining DA from BCC. Our Building Application included a proposed structure to be build close to the rear boundary; at a distance right on council regulation limits. We were recommended 'The Planning Place' and pleasingly, they were the right people for the job.Their negotiation with the Council was tactfully persistent; our application being unsupported by the Council Urban Planner on 3 occasions before finally meeting Council requirements.I very much appreciate their effort and reliability in achieving this outcome. Their response to my queries was prompt and advise sound.The Planning Place radiated experience and professionalism.I did not shop around for best prices but I considered their charges fair and reasonable; and as it turned out, great value for money.I cannot speak highly enough in recommending their services to anyone seeking Development Approval.

The team at The Planning Place are incredibly helping but more importantly if it's your first time engaging a town planner they are fantastic at explaining things for someone who has never been through the process before. I have worked for two of the major builders here in QLD and I have sent many clients to this team for subdivisions and all of my clients have raved about them.I cannot recommend this team enough, they are exceptional at what they do and are always friendly.

We have had several dealings with The Planning Place for small lot subdivisions and they have always made the process simple and easy. From our first time dealing with Ian and his team when we had no idea what was required they were very informative and helpful. Supportive throughout the whole project and very responsive. The guys at the planning place particularly Jamie Potts were very professional and very helpful. Our approval process was stress free and much quicker than first anticipated. The Planning Place represents excellent value. I would recommend the Planning Place for all your town planning needs.

Our job required additional certification and we hoped for a quick turn around, due to our builder's commitments. I called Alec on Monday 20 Sept to see if he could assist. He took it on and said he'd send the authorisation forms for work to start. On Wednesday I had not received them, I followed up, and was told they'd be coming Friday from the office manager. At midday Friday I rang and Alec was away and Jamie told me the office manager was on leave until Monday. It took 6 working days to get this form before their work started. We received the final certificate on 7 October, which was appreciated, but after a lot of frustrating mis-communication. We were so excited because Alec told us we could go to the boundary with our deck. However, when we submitted his certificate to the next round of the process, we were told that wasn't the case and we had to stay 500mm from the boundary. A frustrating experience and disappointing outcome.

After months of set backs and run arounds from so called professionals, The Planning Place saved our bacon.Very accessible and easy to use, The Planning Place took our requirements, gave a reasonable quote, accepted a deposit and got to work.With such a vast, well rounded knowledge of the policy's process's and guidelines, along with a willingness to work with anyone, our final approval was granted.
