Just changed hands and has a great deal of Japanese dishes as well as fantastic fish and chips. Beautiful light battered fish and very yummy potato cakes. Their sushi is do fresh you can see the chef slicing the big salmon making the sushi in front of you. Definitely worth a try v

We were a little apprehensive after looking at previous reviews here but we were not disappointed! We had chips, flake, nuggets, and a pineapple fritter and it was all great! The flake was fresh and crisp, the chips crisp and salty, the nuggets were happily eaten by the children, and the pineapple fritter was amazing! The medium sized chips was the perfect amount for two adults and two young children. There was a bit of a wait but it was well worth it! I'll definitely come again

Good food and a short wait. Reasonably priced and friendly staff

The girl who served us was very friendly and helpful which was nice, but unfortunately the food was pretty average. We decided on menu items that are apparently not on offer during ‘busy school holiday’ periods which is when you would expect they would make most of their money, (nothing alerts you to 50% of the menu not being available till you order). Chips and potato cakes were uncooked in the middle. Seriously undersized fish servings for the price. At least the outdoor seating area is nice.

This is the worst fish & chips in Australia. Upon opening my meal, after waiting 90 minutes, I was shocked by a grim sight. Unsalted chips, 2 less scallops than I ordered and what I suspect was fish cooked on the bonnet of a car. Please stop serving the public your foul food. You’re a disgrace to the proud tradition of fish & chipperies.

Was satisfied with the order. Food quickly made and ready when we arrived. Appreciate the interesting home made dim sims and spring rolls. Prices to be expected from the Peninsula. Despite weird soft chips and floppy fish, the flavours were there. Would order again if hungry, the Rye fish and chip shop is too far. Pleasantly surprised by the service after being warned by bad reviews - perhaps these are the new owners?

Now renamed “Bluefin Blairgowrie”.Long wait for tasteless, dry, overcooked fish which was supposed to be grilled but was covered in some sort of light batter. Extremely limited choice of fish (only flake, snapper, barramundi) no salads and rice was ineatable (dry) - service was non existent. Lots of better options for fish and chips, will not be coming back!

Good lord.. they claim there's a 2 hour wait unless you order a 'fast-pack', the bloke at the till can't get his head around adding 2 potato cakes to the order and on top of this, the portions are tiny and overpriced. Not to be too harsh on an independent business but I genuinely don't think you guys should be running a fish and chip shop.

Their large chips was the equivalent of a small at your good ol' fish and chip parlour. The Kahuna burger was $16 that's fairly expensive. Food tastes good but was cold as some joker decided to uhhm and ahh and place an order in line whilst those who had the proactive and considerate mindset to order over the phone waited whilst our food sat cold awaiting collection. It was most egregious. I'd suggest a seperate line for those ordering at the restaurant and one for those who have done the right thing and ordered ahead ready to pick their food up. The food is quite good however.
