the number of glowing reviews here are very suspicious to me… i and two others rented from charl for 12 months, a property with known mould issues, plants growing out of the wall vents, zero heating, and pest issues, and charl’s incompetence throughout the process was astounding. it took three months to reimburse us for a dehumidifier, and eight months to install a heater (which was accidentally installed on neighbouring property because charl didnt read the quote properly), and it took three months to reimburse us for oven repair. the mould caused health issues and damage to our property. charl didn’t respond to phone calls. this is unfortunately only the tip of the iceberg. he has now increased rent by $50.

I’ve used Charl for our property and I have to say his attention to detail is outstanding. He and the team are professional, reliable and proactive in their approach. They take away many of the headaches we have come across with other property managers.

The Proactiv team live up to their name - they're friendly, respond in a reasonable timeframe and have been all around much better than many of the rental managers we've engaged with over the years.
