I am not a local.Went to George's on a Tuesday night for fish and chips expecting it to be quiet. Instead it was very busy with a wait for my order. And yes it was worth it, best fish and Chips we have had for a long time. Batter was light and not oily. Fish tasted fresh and was a nice thick piece. We would definitely recommend and wait patiently if busy. Well.done George's.

Picked this place based on the latest couple of reviews and my pick was correct.Walked in off the street and ordered a lamb souvlaki, 6 nuggets, 2 potato cakes and 2 dim sims & medium chips. Came to $39.50, I reckon that’s good value. Order was ready in about 10 minutes.Souvlaki was a good size and plenty of meat.Everything was fresh. Potato cakes were big. Would return.

Not sure how this place is still in business, serving sizes are a joke and the owner is incredibly rude to both customers and staff.This is $8 worth of chips, not to mention they are cold.

Our medium $10 chips were cooked perfectly and with a dim sim and potato cake each it was more than enough for two of us for dinner. They have ready salads, plenty of drink choices and ice creams too.

It's hard to find the 'good' place with limited time after being on the road all day with teenagers that are starving. This place hits the mark though. Just under $64 which kills me for fish and chips but there was so much food we could easily have fed another. Chips were great, Crunchy and so many. The fish was perfect and everything else was good too.These guys were super busy and under staffed but very polite and served everyone with a smile. We had our meal in under 20 minuts too so pumping it out. Great job.

Horrible HSP legit looked like and tasted like dog food, didn’t even put garlic sauce on them they were horrible but Atleast it only took 30’minutes.

When we came here, there was quite a few patrons waiting in line for their orders, we were apprehensive. But we got our orders in a reasonable time. The restaurant had limited sitting places, luckily we were able to find a table while waiting for our food. I had the blue grenadier with chips. Food was fresh and when eaten hot, it was very nice.
