We had lunch at the Torquay Hotel, meals were great! Compliments to the chef.Only downside was the $1 fee for the takeaway container to take the left-over pizza home.

My wife and I dined here on the 30th December '22. What a wonderful surprise. My wife ordered a pizza and she was blown away by how good it was. I ordered the Porterhouse steak special and it was tender, juicy and cooked to perfection. Cannot recommend this business highly enough. The staff were friendly and approachable.

Great pub, great service, awesome food. But what is it with people taking their bloody dogs to the pub, Im a dog lover, but really, other people who may not be dog lovers are trying to have a meal. Would have been 6 dogs there the other day barking and begging for food and it was busy. I won't be back, sorry.

A very long wait for food, oysters weren't fresh but Watery and gritty. I had the curry of the day which was a quarter of meat, sauce and rice and the rest was frozen corn, beans and carrots. Others we ate with had a Greek salad that had BBQ sauce on it, and nachos that was alsoTasteless. A really overpriced dining experience. I would suggest dining elsewhere as they do charge top dollar for horrible food.

Great area for food and Drinks, rooms aren't anything special but if you need a room. Located near the beach, which is a plus, but can be very wild at night due to people drinking at the pub. If you want a nice relaxing time, go morning, if you want a fun and wild night, go night

Amazing food. Among our table we tried the Caesar salad, kiddos fish n chips, steak burger and prawn burger! Fresh, delicious and so so so good. Highly recommend!

Definitely only went here because my usual go too's were shut after work.Was a lot of people in a small place, staff were doing well to meet purchase demand, cleaning definatelt suffered. All tables were filthy, only surpassed in grossness by the inability to find a single dry spot in the men's toilets (walls or floor).

Enjoyed a nice steak here, fresh veggies and well cooked chips. Staff were friendly and plenty of space to sit. Prices a little exxy but probably competitive. Right on the Esplanade and things to see and do nearby.
