A very beautiful salt lake in a very remote and peaceful area.The best time to come here might be before sunset during the autumn time.You can watch the sunset over the shallow reflecting water from the eastside.You also can see lots of tracks from diverse wildlife around the shore and hills.I was told that the lake gets his name from it's discoverer, who named it after his wife depending on her shimmering beauty and her salty shrewish speaking tong.The lake lays on the land of a local farmer. - ask for permission before entering the paddock.
