Good beach for swimming, just north of Hillarys boat harbour, so sheltered from the S/W breeze, making for a calm beach with smaller waves.

Awesome place for scenery, walks and fishing/swimming. Plenty of cafes and food stores, plus a friendly crowed that inhabits the area.

Some reviews of this park are misleading. There is no fishing or swimming or cafes at this park. It is a tranquil small park with many mature tuart trees & a very small pond populated with water hens, ducks & two bossy geese. If you want fishing, swimming & cafes, go to Hillarys Boat Harbour which is west by 1km.

Family friendly play area. Insightful history lesson. Have been visiting here since I was a child and it never gets boring.
