Broadbeach Savannah Hotel And Resort

We were lucky enough to score the last room for our night away, spa included in the room, how good! We arrive excited for our night stay at the savannah Broadbeach. We are greeted by Lisa at reception. She was bubbly & friendly with a warm welcoming smile. Customer service amazing, I asked what the regulations around later checkout were and if we would be able to be after 10am & she kindly allowed us to extend our checkout until 11am - but notified us anything after that would be $20 an hour, Perfect! How good?!The Room was ok, however it was a strange setup up having no doors for the main bedroom and then two single beds in the lounge room, anywho…stayed the night did the tourist thing visited pac fair & the casino. We wake up at 10am (lucky for our extended checkout, right?) 10:20 the bedroom phone rings. Quite rudely I am told we should be downstairs checking out, I kindly explained that in our notes it’s 11am. There was no actual confirmation around the situation at play over the phone and my understanding in that moment was that I was passing on information to the next staff member who mustn’t of read the notes on our file and we will be down to hand in keys just before 11am as planned. We go to checkout & this is where our stay turned unexpectedly sour. We are greeted by the grouch! Rude, hostile & disgraceful attitude. Not a “hi, how are you?” or “how was your stay?”She proceeds to tell us she is taking $20 out the money we had held as our bond because we are an hour late. I kindly explained to her the same thing I said on the phone and to please check our notes as it had been made a point of. She doesn’t check and tells us there is no note. I don’t know if it was a simple mistake or if leece (name of rudeness) woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. Regardless your job is to be welcoming & kind to your guests. people deserve to be treated with respect. Kindness makes the world go around. Thank you to Lisa for making our welcome so good, you are an asset to the savannah.

The room it self is ok, old but ok . Sleeping is a different matter. The double bed is two very uncomfortable singles pushed together. It is winter and given only a sheet . So so cold . Yes had the heater on didn’t work so well and noisy. The pillows ( one each)are like bags filled with something hard . So don’t think you are going to sleep well . There is a constant beeping ,what that is , no idea.The door to the outside area was broken and didn’t open , so much for sitting outside to enjoy the afternoon sun.NOTThere was 2 of ever thing , cups , glasses etc but nothing matched. Very poor detail .Would we stay here again, answer is a big NO ( so waiting to get home to sleep)

We stayed here as it was close to our work location. The shower drain backed up and flooded the bathroom on our first shower. Called and was told it would be fixed whilst we were out the next day working, it wasn't. Was told to use our common sense about the issue so we could actually shower. When the front desk was told about the issue again on check out that I wasn't happy, the guy didn't care.Advertised as having two pools and breakfast but only one pool, no breakfast available. I don't see Covid being a reasonable excuse.Room was dirty, aircon hadn't been cleaned in years. Old, run-down, not worth the price we paid. And clearly no standards for cleanliness checking the half-arsed responses from previous reviews. Wish I had read reviews prior to booking.

PLEASE DO NOT GO!!!- Hidden fees- Huge $200 holding feee- No actual parking- Not the Advertised room- Room in horrible unclean conditionMy girlfriend and I booked a 6 night stay from the 4/02 we left on the 5/02 for another hotel. First of all I paid $1,113 for a 6 night stay that was advertised at $1,098 as there was an hidden 2% credit card fee, Second, I was forced to pay a $200 HOLDING FEE that I won’t get 10 days after I check out. If you can take my money so fast why can’t you give it back just as fast. Thirdly the room that was advertised was a 1 extra-large double bed For Studio with Spa Bath which turned out to be 2 single beds pushed together. Even before you walk in The lock on the door is loose and you have to slam the door shut, there is no safety chain, the door holder is coming off the wall too, walking in there are holes in the carpet and stains on the floor and crumbs left in the kitchen. The bed had stains and gave me a rash as a result, the bathroom we refused to shower, brush our teeth or even wash our hands. It was so uninviting. The ceiling was peeling the taps missing items, the “spa” being a 1 by 1m rusty bucket with mould growing on the walls. And the shower head not looking like it’s been cleaned in years. More Broken doors, finding more broken furniture and constant clicking sounds and horrible sound proofing during the night, we drew the line and left.I hope people read this and I insist at all cost to NOT GO!!! It is the worst hotel experience you’ll ever find. If I can’t stay 1 freaking night you might be able to either.

The savannah hotel provides very little stuff to use washroom and washroom were smelly, no help were provide for cleaning. I had booking for 6 days and only 5 days morning coffee stuff were provided. Only one coffee a day and no fresh up stuff. It's like I booked a stadio and now they don't care with their customer. Location were good but unfortunately my living experience were below the minimum.I can't believe that I paid 800$ for just a bed.

Whole room was filthy, black mould all over bathroom walls, filthy carpets and aircon filters were disgusting. They are calling this a 4 star hotel. I have stayed in nicer 2 start motels. The rooms are in severe need of renovations. Definitely not worth the money we paid for the room we received. Severe health hazard

It is happening to us sweetie. We can't go for a run without speeding happening again. I thought it's Brandy again and she talks to us in private and holds our hands behind our backs and she's really strong you know Brand is always at our place sweetheart.

It was Labor Day so there wasn't any staff to help fix the hair dryer, wifi, or television which weren't working. The blankets smelled a little and looked old. Everything else was fine and it's a super convenient location.

My kids and I stayed there for 5 days and could not believe the state of the unit when we walked in. Oven not clean and tomato sauce on the cupboards still. I felt completely uneasy from the moment we got there. Pillows were stained and this is why I take my own. Do not believe the money I paid for my stay was worth it for the actual state of the room. Very disappointing. Would not recommend to any friends or family.
