We did two major furniture shopping at this store. The staff have always been extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Sometimes when it is busy you have to wait a while for service and the staff rush with their responses. We generally like the quality of the furniture, you expect and get good quality for the price you are paying. Their delivery service has also been good. I would like the delivery drivers to take the packaging for the premium we pay for the furniture and for the delivery. We will continue to shop at the store.

Unfortunately, after a purchase of over $3k the customer service was not only rude and combative, but the helpfulness was non-existent. In fact, most of the team sat on the couch on their phones talking to each other.When I spoke about a refund, they did not care one bit because they keep the product and 20% of our money.The delivery process is woeful (The fact we are encouraged to pay the delivery team cash is also a bit bewildering) and all the packaging and crates were left on the street. I also explored the pick-up process but that was even more atrocious with no weekend availability and no option for after 3pm.Considering this is supposed to be a premium retailer the customer experience was rather awful. Would not recommend to anyone to purchase from this company.Further to this we have received a damaged product - This was not only chipped but sealed poorly through manufacturing process and we were told it was not possible to replace it.

While overall I am very fond of my lounge and ottoman, I would never buy from Nick Scali again.Constant delays, ATROCIOUS customer service, flat out lies, some questionable delivery antics, and general quality concerns make this an overpriced and overhassled location to buy from.To be fair, a few of the team on the ground in store are quite nice. But knowledge is often limited, they’re quite secret squirrelly on certain details like stock levels, and can be quite biased and judgemental (on one trip I was wearing my normal attire and was treated absolutely beautifully, with lots of attention and my questions answered, whilst on another day I came in before heading to some outdoor activities wearing perfectly appropriate leggings and a t shirt and they had zero interest whatsoever).In terms of quality I would have expected more for the price. It’s not a match. The legs are a composite wood that look and feel like plastic, which brings down the experience. The pillows need CONSTANT plumping otherwise they sag and roll into weird awkward shapes. The flimsy bar across the back creaks giving me the impression it was damaged before arrival and we need to be super careful around it. However, I do love the colour and the fabric, and it is very comfortable. The matching ottoman is also an excellent size. It’s the only saving grace from this being a 1 star review.But again, the TRULY TERRIBLE customer service and the looooong back and forth was just not worth it. Once you’ve purchased the store no longer cares at all (it’s then done through a remote service team). My partner and I were tearing out hair out in frustration - and he’s a very very calm person normally.

We came in on a Saturday to look around and found a lounge we liked. We said we would have to take measurements at home and that we would be back next weekend. I was then called on Sunday by the same staff member, my weekend AND Mother’s Day, asking how we went with measurements and whether we would come in that day or during the week. Calling a customer for a sale on a Sunday is unacceptable. If I wanted to make the purchase I would have come back the next day or the next weekend as I had already stated. I don’t like being pushed for a sale 24 hours after visiting a store.

I wish we would have read some reviews before purchasing from this company. Whilst I normally restrain from public commentary, in this case sharing our experience could save someone from the incredible frustartion that is Nick Scali.Whilst the retail people are excellent, the overall experience is devastating. We ordered multiple items. Everything was delayed. Two couches arrived damaged. They failed to deliver goods & took them back to warehouse and then for 3 weeks we did not hear from them until we chased them up. When problems occur, you are redirected to an off-shore support centre who will not put you in contact with people in Australia. You spend hours on hold and still don't get anything resolved.Their store people are not able to assist in solving problems and most reflect their frustration of the problems they encounter daily as Nick Scali's back end of the company has no respect for customers and certainly has no concept of service. Even their delivery people have only bad things to say about this company. Sadly they also own Plush and we encounted the same problems with them, so stay away from both of these companies and save yourself hours of dramas.

I purchased 2 Melvin dining chairs at the Aspley store at a cost of $798.00 The display chairs were very comfortable and perfect for my wife who has arthritis. Two chairs were delivered and within 3 weeks the seat of one of the chairs has sunk and is visibly sagging. Nic Scarli service person visited today, looked at the chairs and said that this happens due to variations in quality of the foam seat padding; he said sorry but nothing he can do about it. He also said that if I am not satisfied with that, I should contact the Aspley store. I rang the Aspley store phone number and was directed to customer service centre. After a long discussion, the service centre person said that she would talk to the Aspley store and organise a time that I may take the chairs to the store. This person committed to phone me back within the hour. 3 hours later and I have had no return call. I do not recommend that anyone should purchase anything from Nic Scarli furniture stores.

Less than 1 star. We purchased a couch in the 1st week on January and still have not received it. We were told it would turn up at the very latest in April. Then when April came around they said May, during May they said the end of June and now they 'think', 'estimate' that it 'might' turn up in the end of July.This would make it 8 months from purchase date. If it turns up. Every time the delivery date comes around they said its going to be another 4 weeks.We still have no couch, and no real idea of when it is coming.

I would strongly advise against purchasing furniture from Nick Scali. My recent order was picked in terrible condition, with one of the pieces completely broken. Despite contacting customer service immediately, I was met with rude and unhelpful representatives who refused to provide a refund or even a replacement piece. It's unbelievable that a company would deliver a product that was so clearly damaged, and then refuse to make it right for their customer. I'm incredibly disappointed and would caution anyone against trusting this company.

In store customer service is good however the customer service for delivery is terrible and almost not worth the shopping at Nick Scarli.Organised a delivery day weeks in advance and even organised to be home from work. Delivery was confirmed via phone. Then within 2 days of delivery, delivery was canceled and told to rescheduled.Was told in store that they would be making the delivery within 2 weeks of full payment. It will be over a month since I’ve made the full payment.Avoid avoid avoid!!
