I had the pleasure of having Samantha color/ style my hair recently, and I was absolutely blown away by the results.First of all, Samantha is incredibly skilled and knowledgeable when it comes to hair color. She took the time to consult with me beforehand, asking me questions about my hair history and what I was looking to achieve. She listened carefully to my answers and offered her own expert advice, making me feel confident that I was in good hands.During the coloring process itself, Samantha was incredibly meticulous and detail-oriented. She took her time to ensure that each strand was evenly coated and that the color was exactly what I wanted. And the end result? Simply stunning. My hair looked healthier, shinier, and more vibrant than it ever has before. I received so many compliments on it!But what really sets Samantha apart is her personality. She's warm, friendly, and genuinely cares about her clients. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire process, which is no small feat when you're getting your hair colored!Overall, I can't recommend Samantha at A Loft Story hair Salon enough. If you're looking for a top-notch colorist/ stylist who truly knows her stuff, and who will make you feel amazing every step of the way, Samantha is the one to see!

Ina and her team were great! They always do my hair so well. The blonde woman who studies psychology is also great to talk to. The receptionists are professional, prompt and kind. I’m definitely going to be a repeat customer. I love being here!

Jane is a hair fairy godmother unicorn wizard. She is actually magic. Every time I go to see her and the crew at A Loft Story I leave feeling beyond great. They are so knowledgeable, approachable, friendly and down to earth. They do a great job of talking through what your short-term and long-term hair goals are to make sure they can help you achieve them….Jane has even managed to talk me out of some truly terrible ideas! The space is also utterly gorgeous. 10/10 the best hair experience you could hope for in Sydney.

I've always wanted to have a hair salon that I go to regularly, that I trust 100% that they will make me look and feel good. The first time I stepped into A Loft Story, my first thought was that it does not look like your typical salon. It doesn't even smell like a salon with all the chemicals.It's an urban jungle warehouse with lots of natural light, fresh air from the plants, comfortable seating nooks, an awesome playlist, and the most important thing of all; friendly, experienced, they-know-what-they're-doing hairstylists. Plus, it's dog friendly and they offer you wine!I brought in some pictures of the hairstyle that I wanted, and Dolly tweaked things a bit to suit my face/head shape, what I'm concerned with, and even the upcoming weather change was also taken into consideration. She listened to my hair/scalp woes, suggested products and styling tips.I am definitely coming back, and making A Loft Story as my go-to salon. I trust them to take care of my hair, enough to let them do whatever they want if I ran out of ideas and just want a hair change ❤️

Cannot recommend the wonderful team at A Loft Story more highly! Especially the wonderful Courtney, who took the time to help colour correct my hair, and ensure it was a smooth process to protect my hair and get the right colour for me! It’s a very calming experience being in the studio and the team know exactly what they’re doing and are so welcoming and lovely. Looking forward to my next visit already. Thank you all!

Had a fantastic experience here.Courtney did an amazing job on my hair based off a reference I gave them. After a lifetime of decidedly average haircuts I think this is genuinely the first time I've come away from the hairdresser's chair buzzing at how good I look.

Love everything about this salon. Everyone is super kind and friendly and the vibe is so relaxed. Sam did an amazing job colouring my hair from green to matching my natural brown. You would never even be able to tell I dyed it in the first place. And the cut I got from Jay was exactly what I had asked for. Couldn't be happier.

This is the go to place if you need a big transformation done that involves a lot of work and skill, Ina did an amazing job! My faded fashion color and grown out bleach made a total make over necessary and I wanted to go bombshell blonde. Not only did she achieve that, my hair is soft and silky, the cut looks amazing, and I am beyond satisfied. The beautiful atmosphere and the super friendly staff is a big plus too. Would 100% recommend.

I had my first ever experience bleaching and colouring my hair, I was really nervous but Ina made the experience so enjoyable! She talked me through the whole thing beforehand and continued to make sure I was comfortable the whole time! Plus my hair turned out amazing!! I couldn’t recommend Ina and A Loft Story more!! Plus the interior decor of this place is so stunning I wish I lived here!

I had the most wonderful experience at A Loft Story. In one session, they were able to turn my black hair platinum blonde - something that I've been told wasn't possible by many hairdressers - while still feeling healthy! The staff were so lovely, they made me so many coffees, gave me a glass of wine and even bought me lunch. The space itself is absolutely gorgeous, I felt like I was in a fairy garden. Courtenay did my hair and I can't recommend her enough, she did an amazing job and I'll definitely be going back to her.
