Blue Haven Pools & Spas QLD

We used Blue Haven Pools at MacKenzie South Brisbane to build our pool. They have been outstanding. Daemon and his team are very professional and great communicators. We have a great pool and we are very happy we chose them. We would happily use them again.

By time we contracted with Blue Haven there wasn’t a great deal we didn’t know that we were in for. By the time we contracted with Blue haven we had spent a good part of 12 months researching concrete, fiberglass, chlorine, salt and or mineral options. In fact, by the time we had shortlisted concrete and self-chlorinating we were still to choose from three industry-leading pool builders.The only thing that separated Blue Haven from the rest was transparency and communication. There was not one question that was left unanswered, in fact their salesman encouraged us to do our research, which of course we already had. At no point had Blue Haven bad mouthed any other building company and claimed they were better than others, skewed processes and procedures or left us unsure and doubting. From the day correspondence began with Blue Haven, my wife and I really began to understand the praise and profile they enjoy with in this industry across the nation.The sales team were a treasure trove of knowledge and were able to communicate not only the quality of their products and service but articulate every single aspect of the job in great clarity. Their office staff were extremely well-versed in operations and at no stage were unclear, vague or mistaken in their communications with either my wife and or myself. The project manager was approachable, extremely efficient and communicative, I guess that’s what you would get from a family unit that has been building pools for a good part of 20 years or more. When it came to meeting the subcontractors, their standards of work and diligence were of similar standing. Clearly the selection process upon which blue Haven choose their staff is of the highest standards and that would further support why they have remained industry leaders for so long. Communications were frequent and clear, commencement dates were accurate and not once delayed. Their work was clean, never intrusive and prompt. I found their crew polite, friendly and all very knowledgeable in pool construction and operations.(clearly not ring-ins)I couldn’t be more satisfied with the professionalism of this company. At no stage were we taken by surprise, charged extras, or encountered any challenges that weren’t previously discussed. This is my family’s second concrete pool install and the difference between the management of our previous install to Blue Haven's has been like night and day.Thanks guys, awesome workClaudio and Elli

Pool building great, communication not very good, after service none existent. Would not use them again, after service is the most important part of the sale & I have not received any, not even a follow up call after completion

Absolutely horrific experience. Pool was not built as stated in the contract, and builder refused to speak to me throughout the build. Use at your own risk

I had my pool built 2 years ago and it started off bad and gets worse.I was talked into all the upgrades, but I don't see what the upgrades are?Then after paying them to get council approval, which they said no problems, it was nothing but a problem. They couldn't do it and I had to or I was out of pocket thousands with no pool.Now I have had the expensive pool light fail 4 times, which are ment to be top of the line and a probe that runs my top of the line filter failed from new, but no follow up so how did I know for a year of burnt eyes from too much chlorine.I would never use Blue Haven again and I don't recommend them to anyone.Update. After 3 years I'm now on pool light number 7 or 8, I lost count and the chlorine feed on the filter has stopped working.

Blue Haven Pools has been terrible to deal with. We signed a contract with them 18 months ago. The entire construction process was delayed. They damaged our existing retaining walls. The initial plans they submitted to council were incorrect, which was only discovered after they built the pool. This means the pool is now not approved by council. So we have an unapproved pool, which may need to be torn out. Throughout the process Blue Haven has been difficult to contact. They have made no meaningful attempts to rectify this situation, reimburse us, refund any money or even indeed apologise. They rarely return phone calls. It has been an extremely expensive and stressful process which has been time consuming on our part as we have had to chase up surveyors, city council, builders, conveyancing etc with no assistance from Blue Haven.

Stangely devoid of pools and spas. Had 3 spas, all of which were (almost) identical models, and a few scattered pools to observe. One nice, but lonely, salesman. All in all, a fairly useless place to visit currently for pool shopping.

We worked with Blue Haven over the course of 12 months while we built our new house to install our pool in several stages. At each stage they were excellent to deal with & guided us through the necessary steps. They were always easy to get hold of, quick to respond & take action. We are so happy with our amazing Hydroxypure pool - the whole process couldn't have gone more smoothly.

We have now built our second pool with Blue haven which the first one appeared in their magazine and both pools were individually designed and Daymon and his crew were ontime everytime and we were delivered now 2 fantastic pools that out family is thoroughly enjoying. Once again thank you Daymon and really appreciate the great work you always achieve. Also special mention to the handover with Swim Mart as they were extremely professional and not rushed especially 1 day before Christmas. I would highly recommend Blue Haven to any new pool builder!

I engaged Daymon to install my concrete pool in Manly West. I found him to be extremely helpful, knowledgeable & friendly to deal with. We had a lot of rain which obviously caused some delays but Daymon was great in communicating throughout the process. Thanks Daymon.
