Okay went there on a Wednesday nite and was told our booking was at 6 and not 7 ..it actually turned out to be their error of which they apologised later.....unfortunately I had had a prior meltdown with my dog ripping up everything in the house prior to me attending so my mood was at an all-time LOW and BAD! BUT..they eventually found us a table as the restaurant was packed! NOW I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.. the food is absolutely superb and presentation is excellent and cost effective service as well is brilliant.. well done to Bill and his family !!! My apologies and I am so glad I came and certainly will be back again!!!

ARETE. Wow! This family owned, outstanding restaurant in the heart of Brighton, is truly the gem in all of Bayside. From initial friendly greeting, exceptional customer service and amazing, incredibly delicious, authentic, Greek cuisine - could not fault. Mouth orgasm! Huge thanks to Nicolas, for your exceptional hospitality, warmth, kindness and care. Greeted by friendly staff on arrival. Good atmosphere. Food was delicious and plenty of it. We had dips to share, marinated Octopus, gyros chicken and lamb platter. We ordered this platter for two and there was ample to feed the four of us! Greek salad which was followed by donuts for dessert (9 donuts per serve).

We celebrated my daughter’s christening here and the staff did a fantastic job. We were very happy with how accomodating the staff was and how they went above and beyond for us. Loved the food. Not our first time here. I highly recommend it

Greek food simple and well done. Got platter for 1. More than enough.Octopus, was tender and good.Lamb Sauv wrap also worth it.Beetroot salad bit too many walnuts and cheese not enough salad leafsAll good.Bit dark inside hard to read menu. Can get loud and busy too with many take ways waiting

Well a hidden gem, perfect summer lunch with great authentic ‘home cooked’ style food. Great service and friendly. The food was simply delicious! We will be back here for sure.

Went for lunch however only tried their tarama dip and then decided to leave due the noise level of a function they were hosting. We will definitely return another time!

Had a great meal on the Sunday! The octopus was amazing and everything looked and tasted great.Special shout-out to the young guy behind the bar tho, super cheery and he made one of the best spicy margheritas I've had!! Props

Have enjoyed eating in many times at Ten Greek Plates, ordered delivery- never again! Was so slow to arrive, stone cold when it did and several (expensive!) missing items.Called + emailed restaurant to provide feedback with no response back to any attempts. Great in house food but that’s where it stops I’m afraid.

Dining in this time (booking essential) and still not blowing my mind given it’s popularity. The soft pita bread was the highlight. Zucchini fritters tasty also but overall overrated in my opinionOriginal reviewWe had takeaway from 10 Greek Plates last night which I have seen many times on influencers Instagram squares and was absolutely pumping as a venue but food wise I really found it to be none too spectacular.
