After my recent experience with the service department at Kelly Holden, I wonder how they are still in business.My Cruze needed a repair - the first repair - I have no issues with the car itself which I did buy from Kelly Holden - and as they are very convenient to my work I booked it in and asked if this work would be under warranty. I was told they would find out. I asked again when I picked the car up and was told it was not covered by warranty.While I wasn't convinced or happy I paid the $729.00, but when I got home I emailed Holden directly and asked the question.I received an email back the next day, yes the repairs should have been under warranty and Kelly Holden would be in contact to sort it out.Well, Kelly Holden has never actually contacted me, I had to phone twice, email and message them and speak to Holden again before I finally went in, in person to sort it out.Then the woman I dealt with claimed this was the first she had heard of this problem, and she would arrange my refund ... wait for it ... by cheque.Very nice, just to add insult to injury.So, not only did they wrongfully charge me for warranty work (are they incompetent or is that deliberate policy?), they then ignore the problem they created, ignore requests to speak to someone about it, they then drag their feet when it comes time to refund MY money.Needless to say, I am writing this review after the cheque has cleared, and I wont be taking my car back for its remaining scheduled services, but will be taking it to another mechanic.I will give Kelly Holden 0 stars for service, and recommend people go elsewhere for their service or repairs but if you do certainly do not believe them when they claim its not under warranty.Cheers Kelly Holden! Job poorly done.

Last week, I rang to book in both our cars for a service for the 18/5/22. So we drove from Williamtown nsw, to Cardiff Holden service, only to find out, the person I spoke to on the phone didn’t add our service booking, and I gave them the rego, vin numbers, address and our cars year model and make. The young man Jarrod, that served us on the day, was extremely helpful, and so we had to give him all our details again. Jarrod, didn’t know what happened, with our booking, and I didn’t take down the man’s name that I spoke to over the phone. But within 3 hours, both cars were done. Very happy with the outcome of a bad situation.

Took my car to service with them on many occasions always noticing their customer service quality declining over the years. Last time I went there after booking online and receiving the confirmation, I was told there was no booking and that they were fully booked for months. I had to skip work to be there. Their excuse: The system has a problem and is sending these emails". When I said they were losing a client because of that

Appallingly long wait time for car service. Obviously overbooked & probably overwork their service team. I'd go somewhere else in a heartbeat but locked in until the warranty expires. Seriously considering just saying to hell with it & going to my local mechanic.

The aircon in my Peugeot 406 stopped working and I had it diagnosed as a faulty fan resistor, which I had to order through the Peugeot parts here at KTMG service for $400 because it had to be shipped from France and they were the only ones in Newcastle who could do it (or so they told me). Fine, whatever. They didn't mention until after I had it installed that it would be $250 to install it, because they needed the Peugeot tech. Meanwhile I was getting that fitted, I thought I'd get a service as well, and you can guess what happened: $350 to service, because they needed the Peugeot tech, which they didn't tell me about until it was time to cough up.A fixed brake light later (and I'm 90% sure the tech didn't even change the oil) and the whole thing ended up costing $1200 and change (including the part).I drove away, and the aircon is working (or so I thought). Cool, now I can move on with my life. Nope! The very next day, the fan doesn't turn off or down, just full bore the whole time. I moved from a broken fan, to a fan that never turns off! Great! I call up KTMG, and instead of offering to fix a problem they caused because their tech is bloody useless, they tell me it's $350 TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM! Never mind the cost to fix the problem that apparently wasn't a problem until their tech fixed" the aircon!Needless to say I told them to take a hike!I wouldn't trust these guys to pump a bike tire - they'd probably get a ****ing Schwinn tech out and charge you $350 and it would still be flat!"

Reception service and parts department are very kind. But service department is terrible. I spoke to 2 different people and both of them were rude, impatient and undermining. They kept telling me they can’t hear me (rudely). Obviously I cannot pull an accent they can clearly hear. The one lady could not give a simple quotation of the items I was looking for - she was hostile at me and suggesting I should work out the costs for a service they will render - yet on my own. She hung the phone on me. Terrible service from their service department. They take out their frustration on customers. Very disappointed that other departments are kind and helpful, but the service department is terrible. I wonder which of their customers deserve better treatment. I’m hurt!!!

After every service there was a drama too many to list but the main one was they didnt check my diff oil resulting in a new diff being needed .They gave me every excuse trying to get out of it even told me my warranty had been canceled. After 5 months and a litre of diff oil being spilt through car wich they tried to cover up we took car and will never set foot in that horrid place. Told by a ex employee they are told to flinch and tick service sheet with 20 minutes a car.......absolutely disgusting customer service
