From the first phone contact till the end of a stressful and emotional day, Kent staff were awesome! They arrived on time and were hugely helpful and very compassionate about our situation. All the lovely gentlemen that were moving our mothers stuff were so polite and went above and beyond anything that was expected. I wouldn't agree to an hourly rate. You would be better off paying for the whole day and getting them to do everything so you don't have to do anything.When they say they will arrive between 8 am and 9 am, expect they could come earlier to avoid the traffic" and start charging you to sit outside your house in the truck

We renovated and had half our home work Kent storage. When it came time to get our things delivered.. much delays. After much promoting (I used LinkedIn to get a contact) it was revesled they had put the wrong number on the shipping container.. basically couldn’t find out things for weeks. (When asked could it gave been shipped or delivered elsewhere? The answer was yes!)Kent missed many opportunities to manage the situation. It was badly handled from start to finish. Poor communication.. very little service recovery.An example.. when I explained we had a beautiful new kitchen which I couldn’t use as everything we owned was largely in storage.. ie no cooking equipment, no Lounge, no dining chairs.. nothing.. that’s the time to offer a $200 woolies voucher to buy pots and pans.. or an Uber eats voucher…it wouldn’t have diminished my stress that all our stuff might be gone … but it would have demonstrated care and compassion.Functional items are one thing.. but when you trust an organization to look after things such as your mother in law’s silver wedding cutlery set.. or your mother’s mortar and pestle that’s over 50 years old.. it’s incredibly stressful to be told “it’s like finding a needle in a haystack”.Clearly processes are letting Kent customers and employees down. I’d be very cautious using them.

Hi Carol & Lyndal,I have tried calling you both today with no return call back.Pack - 19/08/2022 & Move 20/08/2022.The Pack - We were not home for the pack, but what had been arranged in the $4400 quote was to pack everything and bring all items from one house to the other. This has not been the case. After returning to the property yesterday, the first thing that was noticed was our whipper snipper left on the driveway & one of our snow boarding helmets left on the bin, both outside in the rain. Entering the property, items have been left in every room, cupboards not emptied, shed full, garage cupboards full (including a broken shelf) bathroom full of items. The Pack - Boxes have been way over filled ( wardrobe boxed taped up and filled to the brim). Contest of draws, and containers turned upside down and poured in to boxes. Complete disregard and care of all items ( $3500 Mac pro computer not cardboard wrapped just thrown in to box with a pillow).We are so angry and upset that we will taking this matter to our solicitor.KENT NEEDS TO RETUN TO THE PROPERTY AND PACK THE REMAINING ITEMS & COMPLETE THE MOVE.THIS IS BE RECTIFIED PRIOR TO THIS WEEKEND.Photos attached.

Do not recommend, we had the worst experience with Kent. We had booked the Pod service and on delivery day, they never arrived. We were told someone stuffed up and therefore our service was never scheduled in. 3 days later and fighting with Kent to get our entire contents of our house delivered we still have not received our pods. We were told they would arrived today at 10am. 2 hours later they still have not arrived. We are in limbo unable to move into our new home 3 days later. As a family with a young one this is very inconvenient. This is the worst service I have every had. We’ve lost work days sitting around waiting. Would absolutely never recommend Kent

Very disappointing experiece with Kent Removals on two counts:1. I was the neighbour and was abused and hassled by one of the Kent staff. No reason. He had his wires crossed.2. I raised this directly with Kent. They promised to follow up. Nothing. I phoned three times. Lots of talk about customer service, but no follow through and no process.Kent team, I'm happy if you want to contact me directly.

I would never use them again. I moved within the suburb in December. Gave a detailed description of wardrobes that needed to be moved. Was told on the packing day that wardrobes could be moved. This changed on moving day. According to the movers on the day, wardrobes required 3 movers and that the office staff got the staff allocation wrong. Movers decided that they wouldn't move the wardrobes. Difficult for me because we were moving out of a rental and had to be out by a deadline. The OHS that I observed was very worrying. They were hurrying, so neglected to use a moving blanket when turning a sofa on its end and damaged it. They also damaged the front door of the rental property in multiple places. Luckily for me, the managing agent didn't pick on it at the final inspection. Very amateurish.

More than $5000 worth of furniture items have gone missing after being moved to Kent storage facility. Phone calls and emails were ignored after a while. No resolution, acknowledgment or explanation were given. The lack of responsibility is simply appalling. Will lodge complaint to relevant authority.
