Daikin have not honoured their warranty on an aircon less then 12 months old instead have looked for reasons and excuses not to honor it. They refused to attend to inspect the machine. It took 5 days for one of their dealers to come and attempt to repair replacing the pcb board which still did not fix the issue and nor daikin or their dealer could diagnose the issue as everything was coming back as normal and working.Despite this they still refuse to honour their warranty instead charged for failed repair roughly $3000 then issued a quote for $3700 to replace the unit which they do not know the cause of the error.They do not urgency on these breakdowns despite current weather in my area being blow 0 most nights.

Two days to get through to book a warranty service for a reoccurring issue, I've asked for a replacement but advised I have to submit a written submission why even though they should have on record the same recurring issues, been advised Daikin are too busy to come and fix the problem so now have to wait to be contacted by someone else when they can come and fix the issue, Daikin advise as being the best product, save your money and don't buy Daikin, even the ladies you talk to on the phone are not interested in the issues, very poor service Daikin

Rang Daikin re spare parts for an existing system and a question on a new twin head split system. Initial contact was cordial and helpful but when transferred to sales, sales would not transfer me to spare part to check if spares were available. I can see why the reviews on Daikin are universally poor and there is no way I will be purchasing any new Daikin products. Once again one star left as you cannot post without leaving a rating. My actual rating would be zero.

Would give minus 5 stars if I could. This company has no compassion for its customers or the hardship they inflict.Terrible customer service if you want a poor product with poor service from a company that couldn't care less about you then these are the perfect people to deal with.Install their stuff at your peril.

I am reviewing as a result of reading so many negative reviews earlier and I feel I needed to add some positive. I contacted Daikin on a Monday morning about 9.10, only waited about 10 mins to speak with a very helpful person. Granted, the problem is not resolved as yet, I'm waiting on the technician, who I had previously booked independently, to arrive later this morning. Hopefully, all will go well and all will be resolved quickly.

Super long lead time on parts ,No back up support ,cant get a technician to site and units have been down for 3 days .Great work guys .Our other site has Mitsubishi and the service ,attendance and response is first class stay away from Daikin .Only gave 1 star because you have to

Daikin AC wasn't working (no airflow). Initially called another company whose technician didn't know what he was doing (constantly on the phone to boss asking for instructions). After waiting for days company came back with whopping quote.Called Daikin and within 2 days (peak of Christmas/summer demand) had Jason attend and sort it out for 20% of above quote!! Quick, efficient and courteous service! Thank you Jason.(PS: first breakdown in 12 yrs since AC was installed).

Service is so bad I can't describe it adequately, our new Daikin had a fault from the start, be prepaired to wait months for the wrong part to be delivered and then months again for another wrong part again. It is impossible to get hold of anyone at Daikin, it has been over 6 months and our brand new airconditioner has rarely been operational. Our installer has tried their best to help us however the Daikin spare parts department is clearly not functioning.

Still waiting on line after 1hour and 12 minutes with the merry go round voice service saying all our representatives are busy with other customers , called back and been on phone a further 37 minutes still no response from phone reps, still on line now for a further 48 minutes and still cant talk to any one, . Have also sent an email to marketing but also no response.Marketing has since responded and advised there were issues with phone services on that week.Personal visit to trade counter, as I am a tradie got the parts I needed to complete a repair but a 117Km round trip to resolve this. Could have been handled on the phone with courier service. Top marks to staff in parts centre with quick response and knowledge which was awesome, Thanks.

AC unit failed after 18 months. Daikin sent out a technician but never heard back from them again and unit didn't get repaired. Only found out from tenant out our property that they claimed it was and installation issue so isn't covered. Contacted the installer (who is on their approved list) and they didn't want anything to do with it as it had been over a year since install. Even though unit has 5 year warranty nothing is covered so having to pay another company to fix the fault as unit is unusable. Emailed Daikin for a copy of the report from the service company and got no response. Also called numerous times but get disconnected constantly and left messages for callback but never received a call.
