I recently had my 6x4m merbau deck sanded back by Clinton Tracy and his assistant Damien. the owner, Clinton was wonderful to deal with. I had many questions about the desired sanding finish and the different options in the marketplace for oils coatings. Clinton is very passionate about all things flooring and his attention to detail and his availability to answer any questions along the way was brilliant. I am extremely happy with the finish and the overall experience of using Quicksand. My deck had built up a layer of sticky crud from 6yrs of previous coats of a different product. This was not easy to remove however Clinton, Damien and his high tech machinery were able to accomplish the task. He had excellent communication and suggestions and I would highly recommend Quicksand for any floor sanding needs. It's high quality service at a fair price. A wonderful job. We needed a fix on some floorboards in one room and Clint was really helpful in doing an overall assessment of the health of the boards and what would be the best option for us. The job was done promptly and professionally. Will definitely call again when we need our floors sanded

I found Quicksand on google. Clint called me back within an hour. I told him exactly what I needed (sanding of a very scratched up floor in a 2 bed flat) and he gave me a very detailed run down as to what was involved and the cost. He made me feel comfortable, so I booked him. His staff turned up on the day and finished on time. The floor looks amazing, honestly I didn’t think some of the scratches would come out, but it looks brand new! I left the keys for the team to access, so I never even met Clint or the team. I booked on the phone and it was all very very easy. I’d definitely use them again and would gladly recommend them. Great work!

With a great quote and thorough consultation, that provided great advice and answers to all our flooring questions, we had no doubts that Clinton and his team were the experts to deal with our sad looking amberized spotted gum floor. We renovated our house and it was a big job in terms of repairing floorboards, patching and sanding back where old vinyl had been for 40 years.Clint is a perfectionist and could not have done a better job. He was well priced, explained the job with no room for confusion and the floors are EXCEPTIONAL.We are so happy we chose Quicksand flooring for our renovation - I honestly don’t believe anyone else could do the job as well as they did.

Clint and his team restored our kitchen & laundry floorboards from old 60s tiles (removing glue etc), tackling a job several other companies I contacted wouldn’t. The results are amazing!
