Strathbourne Accommodation- Hamilton House Bed & Breakfast

A PERFECT getaway spot! Enjoyed breakfast offerings every day, what a delicious brownie too!! Great proximity to town center, only a very short and easy walk away. Stayed in one night and watched some movies that were provided in the room (DVDs on the book shelf), enjoyed picking from a curious collection. This accommodation is pristine, the gardens, the decor, the hospitality! Will definitely stay again.

Strathbourne accommodation / Hamilton House bed and breakfast. Dawson room. A beautiful old home with two guest bedrooms. I stayed in the Dawson Room. A very comfortable bed with my own ensuite and a shared lounge and dining area. Lots of lovely quilts and vintage items to look at. The garden was absolutely beautiful. Excellent location with walking distance to food places and historic buildings around Strathalbyn. The local pool was diagonally opposite. The breakfast provisions were generous. Hosts were lovely. Definitely would stay there again.

We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful B & B in Strathalbyn. It was exceptionally cosy and comfortable. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast provisions provided were fresh, tasty and plentiful. The beautiful back garden is well worth exploring. Hamilton House B & B is located close to all of the town's historic features and service facilities. Highly recommended.

Great hosts, beautiful room, comfortable bed and nice ensuite.

Hamilton House is an incredible capsule of yesteryear. The Lady Jayne room was spacious but very cosy with a comfortable bed and even with a large table and large chairs to sink into, there was still plenty of room. Airconditioning was perfect. The kitchenette was packed with everything you could possibly want and provisions for breakfast were amazing. Continuing through to a perfect bathroom with bath and shower completed a perfect accommodation for two. EVERYTHING was so clean. Oh, the bedroom had a wonderful outlook over an immaculate front garden. In addition to this, we had access to a HUGE dining room and lounge filled with a vast array of antique curiosities. There was even a decanter of port and some chocolates alongside that. Highly recommended and definitely a place to stay at again. We give it 10/10. Joy and Chris were the perfect hosts ... they live out the back but remained totally unobtrusive.

Strathbourne is a gorgeous B&B in a beautiful town. The owners are friendly and went out of their way to make our stay special. I'll always have happy memories of my time there and not just because this was where I proposed to my partner. Very highly recommended.

What a wonderful step back in time. Three of us away for a family weekend...perfect location, home base. One of our party has special needs, the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and accommodate us. I would highly recommend this accommodation. A wonderful relaxing feel in a beautiful location.

Beautifully decorated home, with a cosy feel. Located within walking distance to Victoria Hotel and shops. The hosts were very welcoming. Would definitely stay again.
