I recommend going to this museum if you or your kids love dinosaurs. To see the dinosaurs you do have to pay a fee but it is worth it to see them. The rest of the museum is free. Both myself and my husband had an amazing time here. It is also a museum that accommodates people with disabilities. Disability ramps, elevators and regular seating are provided.

I recently visited the state museum in Brisbane, and to be honest, I left feeling a bit disappointed. I was particularly looking forward to seeing their dinosaur exhibition, as they had been promoting it all over Brisbane. However, upon arrival, I discovered that the exhibition was in a separate section of the museum, and required an additional ticket to enter. I found it quite disappointing that the museum would advertise the exhibition so heavily, but then make visitors pay extra to see it.Unfortunately, the other parts of the museum didn't really make up for this letdown either. I found them to be rather small and uninteresting, and they didn't hold my attention for very long. I think this museum is probably better suited for families with young children, as there were several interactive exhibits and activities designed specifically for kids.Overall, I was expecting a lot more from a state museum, and I felt let down by my visit. While I can see the appeal for families with young children, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for adults looking for a more comprehensive museum experience.

If you are in Brisbane, this is a great spot to visit. You can see most of it for free and there is usually an exhibition on which you may need to pay extra to go and visit. The spark lab is an additional cost too but we’ll worth it for inquisitive minds. Lots of fun!

This museum is free to enter with the exception of the science world floor and the dinosaurs of Patagonia exhibit. That still leaves 3 floors of museum to explore, and you won't be disappointed. Go early in the morning and you can breeze right through, it starts to get busy around noon. The exhibits were well laid out, had great flow and excellent lighting for viewing.

The current Queensland Museum dinosaur exhibition is without doubt one of the most spectacular event ever shown.Apart from featuring many dinosaurs from different parts of the world, the most mind boggling display would have to be the example of the world's largest dinosaur that ever lived. The display is massive, seeing the true size is incredible and the logistics of putting it all together is totally commendable. We're glad we went to see this, it certainly puts a different perspective on our previous ideas held about the size of these giants.Definitely not to be missed and highly recommended.

Visited the museum as a last minute option due to the markets not running. There was a dinosaur exhibition on which we took a look at. Found the experience quite good. However felt the actual normal museum part lacked alot of variety that other museums have. Some interesting things to see though.

I would definitely recommend a visit to the Queensland Museum.I had a look at all of the free exhibitions and there's something for everyone. The Anzac Day war exhibit was super informative and interesting with all of the artefacts from the era. The mineral had some great items too if that's your bag. And then the animal section was fantastic. Huge preserved sea creatures, skeletons, Australian wildlife, and live insects and a snake.

The cultural center is an amazing place for families with kids! With multiple engaging exposiciones the little ones are sure to have a great time, I visited during the Dinosaurs of the Patagonia exposition and let me tell you my kids had an excellent time and were really happy to see some real Dino bones! I’d recommend to buy the tickets in advance since it can get quite busy. They also have some permanent expositions to see some Aussie animals!!
