NAWMA Resource Recovery Centre - Edinburgh North

I live closer to the Anderson walk bottle yard, but choose to come here. The people are great and above all,they don't rip you off. My bottle yard of choice.

Great experience! Can drop off used car engine oil for free!! We took out trailer full of household unwanted goods, it was awesome to be able to throw stuff on the conveyor and it automatically treadmills away. Friendly staff on entry and also on dumping site with any questions we had.We took our trailer full and had it unloaded very quickly.All undercover so wet/hot days no problem.Thanks team, you guys are legends!

An excellent recycling facility, from polystyrene to gas bottles, car batteries to green waste. Timber to clothing. A large under cover area to unload hard waste & drive though the shed (door 2) to unload green waste

There's a bottles and cans collection depot, I usually come here because they have a much cleaner and good run on the order of things at this depot, whenever I arrive I never have to wait very long at all, the fellas there get the job done quickly and efficiently and are friendly too, don't be shy to say hi! Also next door is a pretty decent thrift shop which I've found many bargains, rare finds and most items are appropriately priced, although in my opinion some of the larger furniture and items alike are slightly more pricer than most OpShops that stock similar bulk furniture. But the staff there are absolutely lovely and even happy for a chat from time to time. Well worth coming to.

Store is well set out with wide isles & a large inventory of products forsale well spaced and very reasonably priced. Staff are friendly & willing to help. There is even free bread at the checkout for customers who help themselves to. Parking is very good with wheelchair ♿ access to store.

Excellent place to recycle your goods and under cover

They do business with a card no cash what so ever. They will not set up an account unless you spend Min $400 per month.As a business it is not helpful at all, don't send workers unless you have a card set up for them. This forced me to close up and pay them myself.

1pm on a Saturday and they're closedGoogle says open till 3pmGirl in office says open till 3pm and doesn't know why they've shut as the guys are here to count the cans/bottles

Staff always very helpful and friendly. Having such a good recycle centre within your council is amazing. The amount of times I would have filled my recycle bin with excess cardboard or other items and can go to the recovery centre and get rid of my polystyrene, ewaste, metals etc for free is great.
