We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding day. Thank you to our wedding coordinator Brooke and the awesome team on the day for making it all run so smoothly.Our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves and made particular mention of how much they enjoyed the food, with some saying it’s the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding!Amelia & James

Splendid views of the harbour, great location and venue. Food was good and the presentation was nice.In terms of facilities, they have a grooms and bride room on the lower ground floor. The balcony gives you a 180 degree view of the harbour with a grand entrance at the front. There’s a bar to offer canapés when guests arrive early. A shuttle bus is on offer to pick up and drop off guest parked further away at middle head.There is an outdoor stepped grass area for ceremonies.Overall a great venue, location and experience to have a wedding!

We had our Indian wedding at Sergeants Mess in April 2022. Right from the initial consultation to the coordination on the day, everything went smoothly and all staff were lovely and accommodating to our requests!The venue is stunning with a gorgeous backdrop of the water for Hindu ceremonies outside. Amazing location and great venue, great views of the Harbour.Great service and really helpful to get a taxi swiftly when our pre-booked taxi failed us.

Sergeants Mess
Sergeants Mess has been one of my favourite venues in Sydney for years, the views are amazing and there's a cute beach just right for photos called Chowder Bay, it's only a short walk away!

We had our ceremony and reception at Sergeants Mess and it was a blast! Special thanks to Lily for making the entire journey as stress-free as possible (including keeping up with all my emails!) and always being so positive. Huge thanks for Kiera, Tom and the rest of the staff on our wedding who went above and beyond to provide us with top-notch service. The food was amazing and overall our experience at Sergeants Mess exceeded our expectations :)

Sergeants Mess
I did a live wedding painting here of the couple's first dance and it was beautiful! The venue is so classic with a stunning view of the harbour. There was plenty of space for me to set up next to the musicians, and the guests were able to come up and see the painting. The food was also delicious!

Sergeants Mess
We held our Wedding reception at Sergeants Mess and it was the easiest decision we made! We immediately fell in love with the venue - the view is stunning, the location feels private, and while the dining room is spacious, it feels intimate and inviting.The planning process was seamless. Communication with Lily was excellent, she promptly answered all of our questions and catered to all of our needs. The food was phenomenal, all of our guests loved the food! On the day, our venue manager Brooke and bridal attendant made sure we were well looked after throughout the night.Thank you Sergeants Mess for making our Wedding so special!
