Fantastic location, clean accommodation, amazing food and great value

The staff are very lovely and it is kept very clean. The food was a disappointment after a long day of skiing and especially when previous guests said it was amazing. Not sure if they have changed owners or trying to cut costs.

The most wonderful experience. I travel up to howmans often. Wonderful staff who go out of their way to cater to anyone’s needs and dietary requirements. Yummy breakfast and dinner provided. Would highly recommend for school groups, friend groups and families! And affordable for all!

A great place to go for a school camp or group activities. There is lots of heritage behind the centre which has a large dining hall (seats up to 150), a gaming/tv lounge and two large accommodation wings including the AAA Wing which has been constructed to accommodate people with all levels of disability

Very happy with our stay at the YMCA for the 3 Peaks Challenge, great food and very appreciative that the staff were up at the same time as us to put on a breakfast at 4:45. Fantastic carb dinner the night earlier

Only for those who have more dollars than cents. And the attitude with it

My first time staying here, I was impressed with the affordability, cleanliness, friendliness of staff and accessibility for people with disability. We stayed for a weekend in September and there were multiple people staying who are wheelchair or mobility device users. We did a tour of the new accessible building and it is world class, based on universal design so that it is accessible for everyone. We loved being right in the snow and so close to the slopes without having to pay ski resort prices. We had a five bed room and it was basic but warm, clean and just right for our family. With the cold weather, I really appreciated that the showers had heaps of hot water. The food tended to be 'school camp' plain but there was plenty of it and multiple courses - you won't go hungry. It's great value for the price and much more than I expected. It makes going to the snow all that more affordable for families.

Howmans Gap is almost my second home!I just love this place, such a great atmosphere.Where can you stay so affordable and so close to the snow! I’m impressed and will def be back.Staff are soo friendly and willing to help whenever.I was impressed how clean these facilities are.Oh and I just love the stickydate!! Great food!Thank you Howmans Gap for such a wonderful experience.

We couldn't of experienced a better weekend away! Clean premises, friendly staff and great food. We will definitely be back and bring the kids along to experience it all!
