Nice view of Mackay on a clear day. We were there on a wet and windy day. Newly renovated Lookout with toilets below. Good place to practice hill sprints. Not much else to do here or keep you longer as it is in a residential street. Access not suitable for large vehicles like motorhomes

It's a good place to see the town of McKay and have a nice photo taken as there are a lot of greenery.Its a lookout and that's all.

Splendid scenic views of Mackay, the blue pioneer River and the Coral sea plus more on a clear sunny day.

Mount Oscar Lookout
The changing lights were nice. The veiw wasn't too bad. I went at around 10.30pm and it was quiet and the group of people that were there left a few minutes after I did so I had the entire lookout to myself. Nice place to sit and clear your head.
