Simply wow. The food, the setting, the beer, the merch, all fantastic. The impact Pirate Life has on Port Adelaide and the wider Adelaide area has always been astounding. In my opinion, this is what all craft beer venues should look up to. They frequently have events with live music playing, great food, massive variety of craft beer, a barber and a great range of merch that is super high quality.I've been a regular for years now and I certainly won't be stopping any time soon.

The brewery itself and the merch store are impressive but we didn’t enjoy the beers with the exception of the hot x bun stout. We bought 2 paddles which cost us a whopping $44 (the most expensive tasting paddles we’ve ever had, and we’ve had a few!) and the food was very average. We ordered the cheeseburgers which were dry, and lacked any flavour and we even asked each other if we thought there was cheese on them afterwards! When the food arrived, we asked for tomato sauce and sat and waited for nearly 5 minutes before having to ask again while the food grew cold.If you’re in the area, go for a look around the grounds for sure, it’s pretty cool. Otherwise, try a paddle if you’re curious but skip the food.

My favourite SA brewer - and that's saying a lot, considering how lucky we are to have so many great local breweries down here.Visited them on Sunday night and it was lively, but plenty of space to spread out and have a couple pints and some food. I also ended up spending a couple hundred bucks in their merch area, cuz hey, you only live once.Their staple beers were available on tap, including some new stuff I'd never seen before.

Had a great time here. Ordered a tasting paddle and fish and chips. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful.

Great food & a huge choice of beers brewed on site. Staff are very helpful and courteous and can give you good insight to the choices of food & drinks. If you're not sure ask for a tasting. They are so helpful every time with great recommendations! Always worth asking if there is Nitro Beer on tap. Some amazing creamy flavours.......

Pirate Life is the best for live music, bustling atmosphere and an all-round great time. Been here for several occasions, the most recent one for a birthday gathering, and each time the food, drinks and service has been amazing. Big shout out to Adam and Honor for their expertise! Would definitely recommend getting a variety of dishes to share amongst friends. The katsu sandwich and arancini balls were really tasty, but I’d definitely recommend anything.

A must visit place if in the Port Adelaide area. The beer selection is very nice with a selection of fruit sours to more heavier beers. The food itself was actually top notch and comes out quickly with the steak being better than a few formal restaurants. It is an awesome place to even just have a few drinks with very spacious indoor and outdoor seating and high table areas. It is usually crowded on weekends but is also great for post work drinks on weekdays. There is a selection of arcade games to keep the kids busy if bringing young ones along.

Not the menu but the venue. Great choice of home brewed beers and very pleasant place. The acoustics are just perfect, chill out music in the back ground, few groups of people around and still can talk without any problems. The food wasn't perfect, but not too bad. Staff 10/10.
