Quoted $40 for a new zip in a pair of jeans. Seriously over charging. Shocking customer service and very rude manner.Found an amazing seamstress In Littlehampton who is charging me $25. The same as most dry cleaners would charge. I can only imagine the poor people using this service who are being absolutely ripped off by this woman .

Went in for Partners suit to be altered, Mel was lovely and it was a good experience. She even had the suit done 2 weeks before it was expected to be done. She went above and beyond and the suit looks flawless 10/10 would recommend

Mel's Alterations provides an adequate service at an inflated price. I recently had the waist of a pair of pants taken in, I was charged $35. I usually have this work done locally at Janice the Dressmaker" in Littlehampton or "Mai Ly" in Marion for $25 and $20 respectively. More concerning is when I raised a complaint that the seam where the alteration was done is misaligned

I called Mel on a Saturday late morning desperate to get a dress hemmed for an event that night a few months ago, I dropped it in and it was ready by 4 and perfectly done . You pay for what you get, she was quick, professional and did a great job at the drop of the hat and didn’t turn me around. When I went in there there were 3 other ladies all waiting aswell, she is always busy . Will be taking more to her when I need .

Mel is a lovely welcoming lady however her pricing is very inflated and changes every time u get something done to get higher and higher.I now use a cheaper alteration company in Littlehampton
