At the revamped Waterloo Bay Hotel, we didn't dine inside because of a function, but the exterior is great. I suppose it could be called a modern beer garden. The kitchen is now more open with good value meals. Worth a visit!

Excellent food, staff were lovely and friendly. The only change would be to have a dog friendly sign up. We took our dog, but there were no signs so we sat anywhere a very polite waiter asked us to move into the bar area. We moved over and sat, had drinks. Half way through the main a more senior member of staff came over and asked us to sign a waiver, it was no issue at all and she was very polite too. I think it would have been better if a sign is placed at the entrance saying dogs are welcome and in which area, also that dog owners would need to sign a waiver. If this had been up we would have signed before sitting down. Overall excellent food , lovely staff.

The food is really good, but slightly on the pricier side, can do well to add few more options in the menu. Nice collection of wines.

Love this place so much, it’s my chill out space full of great memories and amazing staff, only let down is that I can’t get here more often! Management are polite and genuine. Couldn’t say anything more about the space love it so much, definitely recommend.

Dropped in for a quick lunch. The service was good but as we were early staff were distracted with setting up. The place looks good with renovations done but a lot of tables weren’t wiped and on uneven surfaces. We ordered using the app and food was delivered promptly, special meal requests were accomodating. Unfortunately we were served in cardboard boxes which is a bit disappointing considering the price. We have been here many times and it’s hit and miss- lucky today for us it was a good experience

Average .t's basic pub food. The staff when you arrive at 5pm when it is open wonder around talking to each other and you just wait till there ready to serve you.

Great chill spot on a Saturday evening. Free tables, easy QR code ordering. The staff are lovely and the venue is nice and clean :)

The venue looks great and had a lot of potential but sadly upon entering the venue that’s pretty much where the compliments stop.Waiting to be seated, the host clearly didn’t know the table locations but eventually seated me in a booth.Mind you, no instructions or anything. Just pointed to the table and walked off. I had to ask about menus and table service.QR code to order food and drink however drink options were very limited and we had to get up and order from the bar to get wine.First up was bread and dip - now this is where I started to notice things were a bit off. Literally a thin knife swipe of hummus to go with the bread which was just dumped on the table, which wasn’t ideal as nobody wants to eat bread on its own. I had to ask for side plates and knives as the cutlery stand on the table was empty.For main I had the pork belly which on first impression looked well presented. Sadly it was dry as hell - both the meat and the salad.Very disappointed as I’d come up for the night to attend Wynnum Fringe. My Cosmo was about the only decent thing.

First impressions are great. This is a nice outdoor beer garden connected to the Waterloo Bay Hotel. Plenty of space, trees, open sky a great place to spend the evening. The food and drink ordering system on the other hand was a pain, it uses QR codes, and is phone based. Probably OK if you know what you are looking for. Tried to find a drink for my partner, spending time swiping a phone when I really just wanted to talk with friend was put off.

Nice clean (except kids play ground) and friendly atmosphere. Food was ok but quality did not match the prices $$$
