Whilst I was initially concerned after placing an online order and not receiving any feedback regarding the delivery, Tom did get in contact, apologised and explained why there had been a delay. From that point, Tom was in constant contact, giving frequent updates on the status of the order up until the tweeters were delivered to me in ACT. The tweeters have now been fitted and the speakers restored to full operation. If you are experiencing delays, please be patient, Tom will contact you and I am sure you will be equally pleased once your parts do arrive.

Complete fail - put the tweeter from my bass cab in for repair - as soon as i took it out of the box it fell to bits. Could not recommend them less

I bought cartridge lead wire.I live in South Korea and it was my first time to place an order to Australian audio shop. I did it with less than 100% confidence, however the transaction turned out to be very smooth and shipment was fast too.Tom was also very responsive and I am strongly recommend Speakerbits who is considering online order.

It's taken me years (since 2007)to figure out how to get my Dynaudio woofers out of the cabinets I built after I bonded them in with RTV (I didn't anticipate that the foam surrounds would perish). Along the way Tom has freely given me advice with no immediate prospect of a sale. And when I FINALLY got the drivers out he provided excellent service getting the genuine parts and adhesive. Just having access to genuine replacement parts is a god-send.

I have had Tom at Speakerbits refoam my Dynaudio drivers a number of times over the past 30 years and his approach to dealing with my questions has always been outstanding. At times it may take Tom a little while to reply due to his workload but with a little patience you can be assured of first class service. I recommend his business highly.

They restored my Tannoy HPDs and did a fantastic job despite the previous alleged bad reviews.edit: they take their sweet time answering the phone, and the service itself was a bit pricy but you get what you pay for. Once I got the speakers home and the crossovers adjusted the way I like it, they sounded good as new for a fraction of what it would cost to buy modern equivalents.

Posted me a small part free of charge as Neville said they couldn't doan invoice for such a small sale, even though they did ask me for afavourable review on Google, I certainly agreed as the service and freepart are excellent and now I have my Thorens turntable going again. Justso happy.

Unfortunately, Speakerbits seems to have closed down. There is still some stock and other things inside but no movement.1pm on a Tuesday.Maybe they’re open on the weekend ??I have had speakers repaired here previously.

I recently purchased some Tannoy Berkeley’s in need of some attention at 40 years of age. Tom knew just what to do in order to get them performing better than new with a few small upgrades. They now sound fantastic and have exceeded my expectations. Prompt work and a very fair price, highly recommend speaker bits!

Tom is a true master of his craft & treats your gear with high respect. After re-foaming my Sherwood ISP9000 speakers, they sound as awesome as they did on the day I bought them 21 years ago. Super impressed!
