The Creek Shack was the perfect getaway spot to unwind to the sound of the flowing creek. It's cozy and cute, with all the modern conveniences and best of all, a truly secluded and quiet location. Loved the details such as the copper hardware throughout the cabin!

Had the pleasure of staying at Waterloo Station for 2 nights during a yoga retreat. Stunning homestead so beautifully restored by Deb. The Shearing Quarters where we ate and did our yoga was equally as impressive. Amazing walks to top off a perfect weekend.

Stayed at the off grid, creek cabin. Absolutely wonderful. All you need is a good fire and good company. Just sit back and enjoy the outback.

Dear lord this place is beautiful.I was there for a day, yoga retreat.Got to see The Shed - a beautiful, 2 room (bed/living/kitchen & bathrooms) accommodation nestled next to a meandering creek; the actual shearing shed (a delightful space for one still being used, piles of fleece and baling machines only added to its charm for me); and the exterior of the main (grand?) house - the lawns are lovely.We weren't allowed inside, as there were staying guests. I appreciated knowing our hosts were looking after all their visitors.Barbara was on the retreat - a nice person to chat to before I even realised their connection to the property.And Doug was around at the main house, running errands, chatting and joking.The views on and around the property are wide and refreshing.A very restorative place to spend some time if you ever have the opportunity ☺️

What an interesting & inspiring place to stay, beautiful gardens, fantastic cabin & lovely hosts. So much heritage, restored impeccably by the owners Debbie & Don.

Absolutely perfect, we had the best rest and relaxation here, such considerate host in Deb, she was so hospitable and allowed us as much privacy as we wanted, the place is beautiful, impeccably presented and the country sheep station environment right at your door. We will be back as it is high on our recommendation list for country escapes.

The Schoolhouse at Waterloo Station was just as described on Stayz and AirBnB. We had a lovely stay and would definitely return.For us, no WiFi or phone reception (Telstra) was a great way to disconnect. The cottage received satellite TV so the hubby could still watch the footy.We were also pleasantly surprised that we could take our small pooch, Hank, who loved meeting Tilly and her little black and white buddy. They all made instant friends.The bed was very comfortable and warm.Cooking facilities were excellent. I was impressed by how quickly the water boiled in the induction stove top.The entrance (for the Schoolhouse cottage) is the first driveway on the left along Waterloo Road (the entrance sign/ aka letterbox) is a bit obscured by an overhanging tree).Beautifully appointed and impeccable garden. Thank you for having us.

Wife and I resently had weekend in the old school house.It was everything we hoped, close to town yet far enough away from everything. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and quiet, great place to escape the rat race.
