Spaceworks Melbourne

I recently had Spaceworks redo my wardrobe in my apartment to make it more functional. The first appointment with Peter was wonderful and for that reason I chose to proceed with Spaceworks. Unfortunately, the service provided after this was below average and communication was lacking. For the most part the product provided was of good quality but it would have been beneficial if when the initial plans changed that the customer was consulted to ensure that the product provided is what the customer was wanting and that damaged products are not installed resulting in the need to reattend and replace.I raised my concerns at the completion of the project as I was unable to raise them sooner due to personal reasons and felt like as a result I was criticised for that and that these problems were my fault.I would strongly recommend that you look elsewhere and not proceed with Spaceworks.

SERVICE:We got a wardrobe replaced in a bedroom and I got a number of quotes from different companies but none of the other companies provided the level of service that Spaceworks did.The suggestions/ideas about what to do the space was great, the communication was ALWAYS clear and responsive (so refreshing to have this level of service).Our job was just a small job but I never felt like I was not important.END PRODUCT:We are so happy with the end product. We can honestly say I would not change anything.We love the versatility and the way the space was used to the max potential.The quality is better than I expected.The whole room has been transformed by the new wardrobe.

Had a wonderful experience with very helpful, professional and friendly staff. They knew what they were doing and organised everything efficiently and as per schedule. We had some changes and they were accommodating. Would use again in a heart beat. Thank you!

Had my study room built with wall cabinets, floor-to-wall book shelves, table through Spaceworks. This is a very tight space in a small apartment, so every wall and floor inch counts. Peter did a fantastic job designing the overall layout that was a functional workspace for my purpose, whilst not making the space appear smaller than it already is. The end result was amazing - the space actually looked more spacious as a result and I've gained twice the storage/workspace.Paul and Matt did a fantastic job installing the cabinets, all sorted within a day and cleaned up after that. Paul was very prompt in communicating throughout and revisited with a few extra samples to make sure I get the tabletop I wanted.The workmanship was beautiful in the end and I'm eager to get work done in this new study room. Very happy with the result and I highly recommend these guys for your next home project.

We had a gas wall furnace decommissioned and removed from our living room. We decided to have ‘wall shelving’ constructed to fit the cavity. Spaceworks made the unit according to our specifications. It fitted perfectly and we are very pleased with the result. We highly recommend them

Spaceworks build a great and versatile wardrobe for us. Very efficient and professional and with an eye to detail.In addition to the new wardrobe Spaceworks carried out free maintenance work on our wardrobe they installed about 15years ago! Great service! Love the eye for detail and pride in their work.

A huge thank you to Froylan for his work in designing shelves and cupboards for a tiny space, and to Paul for the installation- it looks so much better than I could ever have imagined. My daughter loves her mini library" and it's a fantastic functional space for us to work at when we are home

We're thrilled with our new Spaceworks custom joinery in our study and above the fridge.The design, quality and finish is exemplary (installed by genius Paul) and made the long wait (due to COVID) after our first meeting with Peter worthwhile.5 stars for product design/quality and install.

I was quoted by Peter the owner at Spaceworks for cabinetry to which i agreed and paid the 25% deposit and installation time would be between 3 and 6 weeks 6 being the outside. Then Peter rang to raise the price as he believed he had under quoted. I rang Spaceworks on the 6th week to check on installation date as i had not heard from Peter i received an email from Peter that said it would be a further 5 weeks (totally unacceptable). I would suggest you think very long and hard before having Spaceworks undertake any work, they cannot be trusted on price and certainly not on time the whole experience was bitterly disappointing.Quick update Space works returned my deposit and i found another cabinet maker by name of (Jaricks Design )slightly more expensive ($600) and the job was completed within 2 1/2 weeks and couldn't be happier .Pictures below are the finished work carried out by Jaricks Design

Had a really great experience with Spaceworks and was extremely happy with the end result of the constructed bookshelves/cupboards for my living room. Great workmanship, professionalism, advice and transparency. Thank you!
