AI INSURANCE

Well in a breath of good reviews for this company I recently had a claim through SGfleet and found AI no problem to deal with. They promptly authorised a repair at my choice of place and refunded me on a rental vehicle. No complaints here!

Please think before you buy. The rates may be less but when you need them, this company will most definitely not be there for you or the people you care about. Similar to other reviews after two years of being an AI customer a tree branch fell on my car. (Neither I or the tree were driving) AI insisted on me providing copies of my license and getting a formal copy of my driving record despite the fact the car was actually parked in my driveway. On my drivers record I had lost my license for two weeks for non-payment of parking fines. The reminders had gone to the wrong address and once SDRO had contacted me I had paid it. This was months beforehand. AI claimed that when this happened I should have advised them and then declined to pay the claim and cancelled my Insurance on the basis of the small print in the PDS. I couldn't drive until I arranged a new insurer. Although I managed to do this easily I'm out of pocket but wiser, hence this warning. Stay away, they are cheap because their business model is to slither away as fast as they can when you need to claim...

Comprehensive Insurance Price increase from $1273 to $1844 in one year, with no claims and all payments on time. Need I say more. I was a happy customer. I don't think these sort of increases are reasonable. Management not helpful in explaining why. I suggest avoiding this company.If you are looking for a company that has a good deal I suggest Bingle.These are just facts.

The absolute worst insurance ever. If you are insured, run away fast. You will be treated like crap. Be aware that they will penalise you by lodging single car claim $300, you better get someone else involved and get another car smashed. Unbelievable. Claiming within first 6 month? get ready for another $600 on top of your $650 access.They dont even tell you closest repairer for your car, It takes too long to look up"And wait how much paperwork you have to provide for a claim. I feel like a criminal

Been using AI for a few years - mainly because the price was so good. Just recently had to make a claim and found the whole experience from start to finish to be awesome. Always get straight through on the phone, prompt follow up, flexable and the repair process went smoothly. Most of the bad reviews seem to be in regards to peoples expectations about payouts and what constitutes a write off. I couldnt reccomend AI highly enough and will continue to use them going forward.

These guys are thieves masquerading as an insurance company. We have had two cars through them for the last 2 years. They offer a cheap monthly charge to start with then when renewal time comes around they charge a huge admin fee to do what??? The operators are rude and don't give a fig for any complaint you may have. I mentioned to one of their customer service operators that their score was only 1.3 out of 5 for their google review and they said 'that's your opinion. Hmmm?When we went to cancel they charged us over $180 after 2 years of no claims and paying on time....just to cancel.I could go on and on about how bad this company is but seriously... just avoid them. Their business model will never work."

WARNING AVOID! Due to financial difficulties I had to cancel my insurance only to find out they charge you to cancel your car insurance been with the company for 20 years never made a claim was going to rejoin once my finance got better but due to there greed for money and the fact they charged me cancellation fee even though I've never made a claim with them showed me that they are just greedy and have no loyalty to loyal customers I will never join them again no loyalty to long term clients just a bunch of unprofessional scum bags get your insurance from another company guys.

After joining via a web form that lost most of our information, we were harassed for months after an accident that was in no way our fault. Our car was repaired and given back to us, but they continued to harass us via email for info that we don't have, and threatened us with having to pay for the repair.

Lost the pay out cheque to the finance company after a total loss. 4 months later still claiming that they're tracing the cheque. Pleasant friendly staff who run you around professionally with no result. Now have default notice from finance company. Avoid avoid avoid!
