From the first contact until the installation it was a pleasure speaking to anyone number of people at DQ Electrical about my system. The sales staff, installation coordinator and finally the trades doing the install all were friendly and welcoming of a chat. The sales staff were knowledgable and helpful with initial questions and system design. DQ Electrical organised everything with my electricity provider for a SmartMeter switch over, which helped with not having to worry about it myself. The installers were great, the job was originally quoted for 2 days but 6 of them got it done in a single day. The site was clean and tidy, no issues with anything from start to finish with DQ Electrical. A top notch outfit for solar installations.

If you are looking for a good quality solar system at a competitive price you have to call these guys. We had 4 quotes and while Ben was not the cheapest overall price his price was very competitive when you compare it with other company's using the same quality gear. Ben was in no way pushy and was the only one to suggest and explain why we needed the bigger 17 kwh system to cover our $1800 a quarter bill all other quotes recommended 10 kwh systems that we now know would not have be big enough. From the time we placed the order with DQ they run like clockwork and achieved everything they promised. Maddie and Lilia in the office where fantastic and always polite keeping us up to date during the whole process and happy to answer any questions we had along the way. One of our concerns was the installation as it was being installed over our entertaining area and we were worried about damage to the tin roof. The installers where amazing and took so much care including using crawl boards over the roof. Again they took time to explain how they were doing the install and then set up the inverter info apt and showed us how to use the system. Mary and I owned our own manufacturing company for 20 years and know how hard it is to find staff to work with the attitude and confidence with the guys at DQ Electrical. In the last month our electricity was all coved by the solar system and we had a $220 credit to put towards the first 2 months. At this rate the system will have paid for its self in 2 years!

Don and his team did a good job. Don assisted me in selecting various options and patiently shown various calculations for various profiles of placement of the solar panels as well to select the best combination for our needs.

I saw the team had cardboard supported to prevent the panels being scratched from the wall. Thanks a lot guys.No conduit exposed, cable in conduit inside the ceiling space, cable in conduit inside wall cavity and come out to the inverter. They even had catenary to support cable under panels.Well, I am a security technician and I do installation daily. Look at the quality of the work they have done, this is the man I trusted.

Have used DQ Electrical twice, for 2 systems on my house (original 6Kw and addition 8Kw systems). Couldn't be more impressed throughout the whole process, from design, quoting and finally implementation. They exceeded my expectations with the accuracy of the work and left the house as if they had never come. All workers were friendly and explained things before proceeding. Both systems are working together perfectly.Have recommended them to 2 other people who and they are as satisfied as myself. Well done Don and team (again!!!). We engaged DQ Electrical to install our Solar and add some additional data points throughout our home. The entire process from quote through to installation was flawless and simple. All staff we liaised with during the process (Ben who provided the quote and answered all questions, admin staff & install team) were fantastic. The install guys were punctual, well mannered, helpful and tidy in their work. The team leader was fantastic, such a friendly bloke! Initially the extra data points we wanted were going to have to be done another day, which was fine, but in the end the guys stayed to ensure the job was done in full! Exceeding a standard working day for them and no doubt not getting home well and truly until after dinner (we are classed as semi rural)Can’t fault the team at DQ in the slightest & their workers that we had are an absolute credit to the company. I have been looking a solar systems for some time. In choosing our solar system i had around 5 quotes from local suppliers- both through solar quotes and our own market research. Other companies confused me with a little to much technical jargon. Brian from DQ contacted me to arranging a mutually agreeable time to do an “on site” quote. He was prompt and gave a good amount of information and clarified technical specs in simple terms. He was extremely helpful with many of my questions in the lead up to and after receiving our decision to go through DQ (even when he was overseas!) Lilia is the office was very helpful and prompt at scheduling and providing all the information needed for our meter exchange. DQ use their own employees as installers (which is great for ensuring good quality so I had to wait a couple of months for install, but all good Christmas was in that too. Confirmation was provided in the week prior to the install and all the installers arrived at their promised time. Josh, Grant and Nick explained everything to me and clarified panel and inverter location prior to fitting them. They even removed an excess cable I had in the roof too! All fitted in a very neat and with very good tradesmanship. They every explained how to use the Fronius inverter app and cleaned up and swept all their rubbish. Don even popped out the next day to retune our aerial that was relocated at no additional change. I am absolutely serious when I say that this is the best experience from start to finish I have had with any trades work done at my property over the years. Thank so much for everything! Will highly recommend you to anyone needing solar or electrical.

The entire experience from quote to install was easy. Ben and his team were professional and respectful, neat and clean. They even tolerated kisses from our Labradors on their breaks. We needed some technical help after a week which was readily given. We're loving our system and battery and would get the boys back in a heartbeat for any future work.

We have just had our Solar installed by DQ Electrical. From the start, everything was seamless. Ben got in contact with an explanation of what needed to be done from a technical standpoint. He also talked us through various systems, so we could make our choice. Though not the main reason, their price was very competitive.The install team was was punctual, polite and very hard working. By far the best trades we have worked with.Researching solar companies is a minefield but I would have no hesitation recommending DQ Electrical.

The often say the best judge of a company is the support you get when things go wrong.I had an issues a few months after my Solar Battery was installed requiring replacement inverter.DQ handled the whole replacement including communicating with the supplier professionally, efficiently and quickly kept me up to date from the start.Couldn't be happier with the Post Sales Support I gotthanks team!
