My 9 year old daughter has done two workshops with Agnes so far and is so proud of her beautiful creations. The studio they work in is so gorgeous and Agnes is so clever and talented. Nimble hands create nimble minds and Agnes creates the perfect space for just that. Highly recommend!

Agnes provides the perfect gentle, nurturing and engaging environment for crafting. I loved the opportunity to focus and joyfully create a lantern child in winter. Agnes calmly guided the process and I loved taking the time out to focus and learn a new skill. Recommended !

The craft workshops run by Agnes are filled wonder! I have been able to make beautiful things due to her inspiration! She is a very patient teacher and encourages me by her own passion and joy. Her workshops are fun and everyone is so friendly. Her house is so comfortable, warm and welcoming just like her. Agnes is also very generous in her time with not only just teaching us craft but also preparing a wonderful lunch at each craft workshop. I feel blessed to have met Agnes at the Mullumbimby craft shop which led me to her craft workshops while I was holidaying in Byron Bay.

Craft Day with Agnes has been my favourite day of the week since I started attending 4 years ago. Agnes is a quiet, calm and very capable teacher who takes a lot of time in her preparation for class and a great amount of care in choosing projects which appeal to all. I have been fortunate to build up an amazing collection which is immensely popular with visiting children of all ages. I am amazed at how much my skill and stitching have improved, and am now confident to tackle other projects on my own. There’s something about crafting in a group circle, however, that nurtures the soul and draws me back week after week.

We had a lovely morning at our baby shower craft workshop with Agnes and were able to make some lovely felt animals for the mum to be’s nursery. I highly recommend a workshop with Agnes.

I have found so much joy in crafting with Agnès. I wouldn’t have thought it possible to make such intricate pieces but she is truly a gifted teacher. She can guide a class of varied skill levels (from 50+ to under 5 year olds) and still hold a calm and relaxing space for connection and community. If you are a lifetime crafter or just a beginner you will walk away feeling nourished and nurtured after a session at The Artisan Forest.
