I had LASIK surgery performed a week ago and only have positive things to say about this clinic and my experience there. The practice is immaculate and everything is very clearly explained to you from start to finish.I have had very poor eyesight for my entire life and after years of being told I was not eligible for surgery I was losing hope. After carefully researching I chose eye laser specialists and was impressed immediately with the staff, cleanliness and overall first impression of my free consultation. Fast forward to the actual surgery and everything was so smooth and easy. All of the staff are extremely professional and make you feel at ease which I found very helpful due to the nature of the work they do being nerve racking for patients. I was extremely nervous on the surgery day, again to which the staff were great to deal with and extremely accommodating. The only slight improvement I would say is that the post surgery experience should be explained in slightly more detail, although I understand the recovery is a slightly stressful part of the procedure and everyone will have varied experiences.Overall I am amazed and so happy with my results, within less than 24 hours I could see for the first time in my life. One week post surgery and I am back to work, maintaining my eye drop routine and fully able to see. The surgeon was so relaxed and calm and was honestly having banter with me throughout the whole experience. Dr. Anton van heerden has genuinely changed my life and I am eternally grateful. 5* star experience.

For anyone contemplating whether or not to go through with laser at this clinic, I highly recommend taking the leap. I got SMILE done recently and had the most amazing experience. The specialists went above and beyond to make sure I knew what I was getting done and walked me through all the steps so I never felt anxious or unsure about anything. Dr Anton was so friendly and wonderful, I wasn't worried at all and the outcome was perfect - love being able to see clearly without glasses. Would absolutely recommend!

The service provided by all staff from admin support to surgical was second to none. It made the somewhat daunting prospect of an eye procedure a lot more relaxing and simplified. The post procedure patient care was as equally satisfying. I found the staff are very friendly and patient as well as very informative . Would completely recommend Laser Eye Specialists in Armadale. From start to finish, I've had nothing but a pleasant and efficient experience with them.I went for an initial consult and within a week I was booked in for the surgery! I was expecting a long wait time but was so pleasantly surprised by the speed of service and the price for surgery. The clinic is also spotless and welcoming.The eye tests the staff take you through prior to surgery are very thorough, and they answered all questions about the procedure. I had the SMILE procedure done, and it is life-changing! It's so nice to wake up in the morning and not have to think about wearing glasses or contacts. My vision is now better than 20/20 vision in both eyes.The procedure itself took no more than 15 minutes in total and was completely painless (just some slight pressure, the feeling of movement in your eye). I was very nervous during the surgery but Dr Anton was excellent and helped to set my mind at ease. (I also appreciated the stress ball offered for people who may be nervous like me!).The staff then book you in for one week, one month and six-month follow up appointments, so I have felt supported through the entire process. From my initial consultation to the surgery itself and even the follow up appointments, the whole process has been nothing but excellent service from everyone involved. I had SMILE surgery by Dr Anton for my short sightedness (6 and 5.5 on my right and left eye) and slight astigmatism. Within the first 24 hrs post surgery, my vision improved rapidly and noticeably. Only a bit of pain now and then which the optometrist explained may be due to residue from prescription eye drops, and recommended I wipe my eyes with a warm towel, which helped. 1 week post surgery I had better than 20:20 vision! Still a little blurry in the mornings and needed lots of eye drops to prevent dryness. I'm 1 month out now and have better than 20:20 vision and only slight dryness (eye drops twice a day) which I expect to continue improving. Super happy with my surgery and highly recommended Dr Anton and the optometrist at Eye Laser Surgery.
