Outward Bound Australia

I had a great time at Outward bound doing the high ropes and the giant ladder. The staff were friendly and engaging, and the course provided a unique opportunity participate in outdoor activities that you often don't get a chance to do.

I recently embarked on an outward bound 8 day leadership expedition as a mentor with 13 young people (15 - 18 yrs) , the staff at OBA were absolutely incredible. The team building methods and challenges they set us over the 8 days forced our small group of strangers to become a close knit, highly effective family. The changes we observed within these young people was mind blowing, every single kid said they went away feeling more confident internally as well as more confident in dealing with life.More than that, I also feel personally changed, as well as having new professional tools and strategies to return to my work place with.I now recommend to all my friends and family and their kids to embark on this incredible experience.5/5 experience of a life time!

I was part of a film team sent to Outward Bound Australia in Tharwa (ACT) to document the participants experience. I was thoroughly impressed observing Outward Bound Australia team performance as they facilitated within the Indigenous leadership summit. The Outward Bound Instructors were some of the best facilitators I have ever seen, true professionals. The Outward Bound Instructors ensured the participants were prepared for every challenge that would arise over the journey. The participants left rewarded with feelings of accomplishment and earned memories of a positive shared experience. I highly recommend Outward Bound Australia in Thawra, ACT.
