The beach is very calm with semi white and brown sand, it is so therapeutic on the feet.The one side of the beach the water is very calm for a dip while on the other side of the Sorrento back beach waves are amazing for surfing.while the are out on a hot summer day the rock pools are so therapeutic for a dip and can’t miss a dive.For those who love nature, the rock pools, the over looking rock ledge are such a beautiful scenic view.

peaceful place to enjoy summer, not too crowded and feels like ur own beach as it’s enclosed and not the most popular beaches to go to. lots of seaweed on the shore if you don’t like that. lots of rock in the sand. sand was not too soft but not too grainy 3/5 for ‘stickyness’ when you clean up, venus bay is 5/5 for reference.

Amazing beach and a fantastic family friendly place to visit in the summer. Plenty of grass area for picnics on the foreshore and there's also some benches available. Great place to soak up the sun or visit local amenities including the restaurants and bars nearby.

Great place for a walk, picnic or a paddle along the Western side of the Mornington Peninsula. Parking can be difficult on busy days as it's extremely popular, especially with younger families as the shallow, sheltered water is generally very calm, even in very windy weather. Because it's very shallow, especially close to shore, the water is also typically warmer than deeper parts of the bay. Lots of shady trees, grassy lawns, benches and picnic tables.

This is one of the most beautiful spots for a picnic lunch. The weather is fab and the area is super vibrant. There are nice cafes and beautiful lanes around. A ferry ride from Queenscliff, picnic at the beach here and having quick bites at a cafe nearby would mean a perfect day!
