Ukiyo Melbourne

Did all four rooms at Ukiyo and they were amazing! I definitely wished we didn’t do them first on your trip here because how could it get better than this. Both rooms had amazing sets, and it was super interactive! I don’t know what else to say except to just do it! It’s definitely not like your typical escape room so don’t come in with the mindset of doing puzzles as fast as you can. These rooms are really made for you to immerse yourself into the story, and take control. You will be using your brains throughout the whole experience but not how you think you need to. Again this is an immersive experience that cannot be compared to a typical escape room so if you’re into solving quickly, you’ll really need to change that mindset and let yourself go. It really is a must do experience. Don’t let the lower rated reviews deter you, as long as you come to have fun then you’ll enjoy it so much!Shout out to our games masters, Marcel, Nat and Joe! Y’all were amazing!

This experience is like no other escape game I’ve played in the past. The emphasis is on an immersive journey through a well crafted narrative that’s both thrilling and full of emotion. We will definitely be returning again to play the second episode of Deep Space. Our host Nat was amazing as well! Highly recommend to both escape game lovers and anyone looking to have a fun unique experience. P.S. this is doable with 2 people or smaller party sizes!

Amazingly unique, fun, and fulfilling escape room experience. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience playing Ukiyo’s Space! Highly recommend for small groups and couples. Joe was an amazing game master who facilitated an awesome time.

TLDR: In my honest opinion, one of the best escape experiences hands down in Melbourne. Faultless in every way, while not a traditional room - it deserves props for its creativity and immersion that is second to none.Puzzles: Excellent - the puzzles were ALL interactive - you will not find a single letter or number lock which is one of the strongest points of the rooms.Plot: The BEST part of the entire experience you are immersed in every way with the plot. You feel you are a character in the world.Personnel: Lovely, very helpful and super nice when things didn’t go exactly as planned. Special thanks to Marcel, Nat and Joe!Price: Bit more expensive than other rooms but it’s worth it.Overall Rating: 10/10 - I cannot recommend this room enough, you have to try if you can only do 4 rooms in Melbourne. Ensure you are ready to immerse yourself in an interactive world. I will be back for the next room.

I played Deep Space and it's sequel and they were awesome! This is different to any other escape room I've played. There was a storyline that piqued my curiosity and kept me interested the whole way through. It didn't feel like I was solving puzzles to get out but rather finding a story that was in equal parts thrilling and satisfying. Highly recommend and long live Enkidu

We went to the deep space divinity escape room. It was such an awesome experience. The story line and setting was simply fantastic. So much effort and thought are put into these escape rooms and it really shows. Our guide Isaac was extremely knowledgeable and just a really down to earth person who made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable - give him a raise! We have also done the crumbling prince and enjoyed it just as much.

i recently experienced the Crumbling Prince and I've done many escape rooms before but this was totally different compared to the other ones I've done. it kept me immersed in the story with the music and the AI in the room was pretty mind blowing with its responses.my group was a 3 player team and it worked perfectly fine without the fourth, the experience left my team pondering about what's going to happen in episode 2 and we're definitely coming back to do the next episode.i definitely recommend doing an escape room at Ukiyo and the price is worth the experience. i don't quite remember the host's name but I believe his name was Dave or something of the sort, he was a legend :)

Absolutely amazing experience, unlike any other escape room I’ve tried! We played both parts of deep space, and the storytelling was just incredible. Your decisions really impact the game, and the puzzles are a really fun level of challenge. Highly recommend!!!

Ukiyo was a really great experience!! We did both the Crumbling prince and Deep space. The rooms were really well made and we loved all the little details and especially the interactions with the characters and the AI in there. We wanted to go back and try different things for different outcomes and continue the next part as soon as we finished the first, definitely will need to go back and do them soon!!

Played this escape room with my partner and another couple and thoroughly enjoyed it. Very different experience from your typical escape room as the room felt more like a real life puzzle video game. The game master, Dean was a great and passionate story teller who got us prepared and immersed into the world of the Crumbling Prince. As an escape room enthusiast who’s played escape rooms across Sydney, would recommend.
