Camawald Cottage & Studio B&Bs

What a beautiful place! If you are going to Coonawara you want to stay here! The cottage is very pleasant, clean and well equipped. Grounds are beautifully cared for, inviting a stroll. On arrival, we had a log fire prepared for us by John, and we just sat there under majestic gums enjoying the sunset. Sue stocked the fridge full of her home made jams, marmalade, chutney, farm eggs. Sue and John are very helpful with their suggestions of where to go and what to see, such lovely hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend and hope to be back soon. Coonawara is well worth visiting, and so are the coastal towns - we also enjoyed scenic drive in Beachport.

Wonderful stay in the Studio. Lovely outlook from the studio of the garden and the birds. Beautiful gardens and grounds to have a walk and admire the effort that has gone in. We loved all the homemade bread, jams, biscuits etc also bacon and eggs. Close to the wineries. Sue and John are lovely host. Our fur babies Ruby and Lily loved it.

Absolutely amazing garden location. A couple of our friends booked us accommodation here in the studio for a night as a gift, and it exceeded all of our expectations. It was raining during our stay, however Sue came around to welcome us and even provided umbrellas so that we could experience the garden.10/10 will recommend to our friends as a must-stay location!

Sue and Johns place is perfect, close to everything you need for amazing wine and food. There was a huge offering for breakfast with organic farm eggs and home made jams and sauces. We even brought our furry friends along for the stay, they loved watching all the wildlife in the amazing gardens from the comfort of the bnb.

Wonderful stay here in May; very comfortable, lovely hosts, nice food provisions, beautiful gardens & grounds, the perfect place to stay in the Coonawarra region.

Beautiful setting and isolated from main cottage and the other Airbnb studio. It had all the facilities and a beautiful verandah and back deck with BBQ

Amazing retreat, very serene with the whole gardens to yourself. Sue and John are great hosts, we loved all the home made fruit, jam, biscuits etc. Perfect weekend getaway location!

We needed a place to stay in the Coonawarra region so that we could easily visit some wineries and explore Penola and further into Robe and Beachport. Camawald Cottage exceeded our expectations for this winter break. Our huge studio room was perfectly set up with everything we needed. The attention to detail was amazing. More food supplied than we could possibly eat. Sue and John were wonderful hosts. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.
