We went yesterday and received the most amazing service . We were greeted by everyone with a smile & a glass of bubbles.Destiny was absolutely outstanding & extremely professional. The head & neck massage was so relaxing & the music Destiny had chosen only enhanced our experience . Quite simply just what we all needed … was a bit of extra pampering. I would highly rate this salon to all that need a bit of time just to chill & unwind . Thank - you so much to Destiny & the team !!!!!

Had my hair and makeup done for my best friend wedding the makeup I had to completely redo. I had no eyeshadow on. I had to do my lashes myself as the lady could not do them herself, this was also after we already took a pair off that where cut to short and not put on correctly I the first place. The Makeup is not worth $160 and I would not recommend anyone going here especially not on such a special day. Luckily we where able to fix there mistakes but to then still have to pay for something that was horrendous. Nothing against the girls they were lovely people but they had no idea how to do makeup. If you are Needing makeup in Hamilton do your own or bring your own artist, they are not trained to do makeup.

The ladies at the salon were so friendly and amazing with my young daughter and myself. Couldn’t be happier with the services provided to us. My daughter enjoyed every minute of their pampering and they were so wonderful to agree to have a group photo taken. Highly recommend.

I was really disappointed with my wedding day make up and I would not recommend Island Make Up services to anyone especially for their wedding. After trying to fix their make up, two of my bridesmaids ended up just going and redoing their own because they lacked confidence in the make up artists to fix theirs. I, as the bride, asked for my highlight and contour to be heavier twice before also going and just doing my own. My lips were lined as one curve however I have a cupids bow so I had to take off my bright red lipstick and redo this as well. A wedding is a very special day and we were lucky we knew how to do make up or else it could have ruined the day. Paying $160 a person for this make up was not worth it and I would recommend anyone doing their wedding make up just do their own or bring along a MUA. Hair was great they did a great job of this just lacked the ability to do a great job with the Make Up.

A big shout out to Phoebe, Grace and Destiny who helped with my bridal tan and hair and make up. Destiny was patient and supportive during the initial consultation and also helped to cover up tan lines with a fake tan- ensuring I looked natural and sun kissed. Phoebe and Grace worked tirelessly in 30°c + heat to create the perfect hair and make up for myself (bride) and mother in law. Grace (hair stylist) has a real knack for perfection and will not stop styling or working with your hair until it’s 110% perfection. She is also friendly and a great laugh! Phoebe (make up artist), was gentle and sweet. She listened to our ideas, taking on our feedback and mixing it with her own expertise. We loved her smoky eye look and like- lasting lipstick best!Thank you so much for playing an important part in my special day Destiny, Grace and Phoebe.

I was absolutely obsessed with my wedding hair by Grace and makeup by Phoebe! Made me feel so beautiful and comfortable! Grace also gave me a post wedding haircut, again I was obsessed! 10/10 would recommend these talented girls

Amanda was amazing! I had my consult the day before and she nailed it! Gave me a pop of colour which was fantastic but also listened to the brief and I was really happy.

Came in a good few times for an eyelash lift, which was always done flawlessly. I got so many compliments and questioning whether they’re my natural lashes. Phoebe always does a fantastic job and is so gentle and calming whilst she works.

Definitely not worth the money, these makeup artists need more training on colour matching and working on mature age skin. My hair dropped out before they had finished and they won’t capable of fixing it. Super disappointing experience for my sister’s wedding
