Interesting spot to visit. Parking is available near the corner of Old Mandurah Rd & Sixty-Eight Rd, Baldivis. A short walk along a dirt path through the dense bush, which hides the lake from the road, brings you to a wide expanse of dry limestone lake bed and low scrub. Wander around and see the ancient thrombolites, the salt water lake, the birdlife and follow some of the walking trails. Finish your afternoon of exploration with a drink and something to eat at the Vernon Arms Tavern/ Whitelakes Brewery opposite the lake on Old Mandurah Rd.
