Lovely dining venue. The service is on-point and attentive. The carbonara is nice: creamy, cheesy, salty. The nduja butter scallops are the best dish out of them. The beef ribs are a little overcooked for a mediqm rare but taste not too bad. I like the fact that they charred the bread which really bring more dept to the normal ciabatta bread.

Highly recommend Pastore for fine dining Italian cuisine. The ambience is very modern and peaceful. Great location, literally within Chadstone complex. Food was delicious especially the octopus, scallops and the homemade pasta. Service is of very high standard. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Special mention to the Anjali one of the head staff there who took great care of us. We will definitely be back :-)

Not sure what is going on with this restaurant. It’s meant to be Hotel Chadstone’s fine dining Italian restaurant, but it’s the complete opposite. I have been meaning to tick this venue off and was so looking forward to seeing if it had improved since it opened. Stunning interior and bar inside. All the dishes were so bland and had no body. Everything we ordered cost an arm and a leg, but tasted like it was cooked by a training apprentice cook. On top of this, we were served bread to our table, but were not provided side plates. So we had to eat with our bare hands in a fine dining restaurant. When I finally got a hold of a waitress, she brought over the side plates late after we had finished the bread. The spaghetti marinara was in some red sauce that was bland, and the entree was mediocre. I am sorry to say that you’re better off eating at Chadstone’s many other dining options.

Very poor experienced.Ordered food, took about 40-50 minutes before the first dish came out. 10-15 later for the last dish. All our guests ate at different times.Food quality was sooooo mediocre. No one was impressed.For the price, you can go next door and get better steaks. Bread was severely burnt and served to us.Kitchen is either understaffed or not sure what they're doing.FOH was okay, too many moving parts. Not enough updates or acknowledgement of the delays.Not coming back.

I stay regularly at the MGallery Chadstone and my experiences have been hit and miss at both Pastore and Altus. See my other review from my most recent visit at Altus.I arrive after a long day and couldn't be bothered eating anywhere else, so I opt for the pasta night at Pastore. It's an Italian restaurant so I expect the pasta to be good. Unfortunately it's not. The pasta is overcooked and what gets marketed as a ragu is woefully under-seasoned. The restaurant has no soul tonight and the kitchen staff look like they're struggling to stay awake. I provide feedback. No one listens but I get thanked for my opinion".I note this and my dire experience at Altus to the duty manager a couple of days later and things change drastically when you find someone who actually cares.I'm invited for dinner the next night and the restaurant is busy and has a vibe to it. The kitchen is all flames and smoke and their head chef clearly brings the kitchen to life.I start with the seared scallops. The arrive quickly and are delicious. Cooked perfectly with a parsley crumb and the onion puree is a knockout.For mains

We had a wonderful experience at Pastore. The food was very tasty, and it was true Italian Fine Dining. The meal size was very generous, and the service staff were outstanding. We enjoyed the Pastore signature cocktail, the Bella Notte" which is highly recommended."

As an Accor Plus member, I enjoyed 50% off the food which was fantastic. Everything pictured here was $96. The salad was exceptionally refreshing, the acidity of the tomatoes was completely offset by the lemon vinegar and the steak was cooked to perfection. Decent wine list and fairly priced as well.

This was the most delicious baked potato we have ever had. Even though we were already full, we couldn't resist savoring every bit of this amazing dish. The steak was equally impressive--perfectly cooked with a beautiful pink color and perfectly sealed to lock in all its juices. Every bite was truly satisfying and you could even taste the smoky flavor from the charcoal grill.The panna cotta and tiramisu were also fantastic. The vibrant colors of the panna cotta already put us in a good mood, and the perfect combination of sweet panna cotta and tangy sauce, topped with fresh mint and beetroot, gave us an unforgettable experience with each mouthful. The tiramisu had just the right amount of sweetness and wasn't heavy at all.These two perfect desserts brought the meal to an end in the most delightful way, and we will definitely come back to this restaurant. The food was absolutely incredible!

Enjoyed a lovely dinner at Pastore, great view of the open kitchen, and plenty of waiting staff around to assist with any queries.Absolutely adored the veal entree of which the name escapes me, with a great balance of sweet, tangy and savoury.Regretted ordering too much carbs with our mains, and felt it would have been better paired with other meatier mains on the menu, but delightful all the same.

Had a wonderful time for dinner! The service was friendly and the Manager was too, they took time to get to know the customers and provided recommendation. The rib eye was cooked perfectly to our liking and the pasta was excellent texture. Well done team.
