Protector Windscreens

I contacted 3 companies to replace my window screen, Protector came back to me within hours with 2 prices (after market and genuine) booked in, job done within 2 hours, great service all around.

I’ve always had great experiences with Protector Windscreens Mackay. When my son needed to have his mirror reglued to the windscreen, I recommended them straight away. The guys were prompt, courteous & he was on his way in no time. Great job. Would definitely recommend.

I got my windscreen replaced through insurance today and to say I’m happy is an understatement! Such friendly staff yet professional, they went above and beyond, i was able to drop my keys off early and pick my car up later then close, they stuck my dash cam back up and I even got a strip of tint at the top of windscreen! highly recommend this wonderful company!!

After being quoted almost $1000 to have my windscreen replaced I called another place I found Choice. Maryanne only does small stone chips but highly recommended Protector Windscreens. So I called and requested pricing and my situation and you could imagine my shock when they quoted me $305 to replace and could fit me in almost immediately. Great service and would prefer to support locals that can look after you. Needed a new screen for a roadworthy through Suncorp, their recommend agent had a 2 week wait. Rang Protector and they could fit me in first thing the next morning also through Suncorp. Suncorp really needs to share the work around town. Protector were great, friendly, clean and tidy and service was excellent

What an amazing experience from start to finish having my windscreen replaced with these lads through insurance. Had my windscreen replaced here about 3 weeks ago. A few days ago I noticed that one of the rubber strip mouldings which runs on the roof of the car from the windscreen to the rear of the car is missing. I rang Protector Windscreens in Mackay to enquire if they happened to have removed the strip and forgot to put it back, but they denied that they have ever removed it and insisted that they never need to remove these. I can't prove anything and only had the goodwill of Protector Windscreens to rely on, but it is indeed a strange coincidence that in five years since I had the car, it is the first time, when I have the windscreen replaced, that one of these strips in such close and intimate proximity to the windscreen strangely goes missing! Protector Windscreens Mackay did mention to me when I picked up the car that they had difficulty removing the windscreen. Now I am out of pocket for $65 for a new strip. Not happy!
