Aspendale Gardens Veterinary Hospital

Moved to Edithvale 3yrs ago beautiful community and very welcoming of us country folks moving to Melbourne! from country Victoria. I rang this local vet this afternoon and beside myself with my King Charles Max 8 yr old having some sort of seizure and frothing and gurgling at the mouth and a grand marle type seizure…. My 18yr old son diagnosed Asperger’s who had his first grand marle seizure 2 years ago at 17 and 13 more very deadly serious seizures, ambulance mica paramedics and Clayton hospital have been 200% well beyond what they are expected!Max who my ex and I bought for Harry so he could learn to love and my god best friends!!! All went horribly bad and this afternoon Max whilst I was on my Mac nearby started gurgling and went stiff…I ran to him and held his heart my boyfriend is a retired mica paramedic and performed CPR .I panicked and found the closest vet via Google. I was trying to keep my 8yr old King Charles cav alive with CPR and hysterical (it’s family and I’m distraught) the cold hearted receptionist heard my call and put me on hold… then said they were too busy and couldn’t help me but happy to give me a number I could call for other emergency clinics.Thank you.I just would like you to know apart from the distress of our cruel distressful day we have learnt…#1 WRONG people are in the jobs that purely aren’t suited to their personality

This was my second visit here and I saw Laura, she is fantastic, I felt comfortable and at ease and the vet nurses were great with my pup as well, I wasn't going to come back after my first experience but after today I will be bringing leo back to see the girls, he loves them :), thanks!And 5 years later I am still bringing Leo here :)

Poor service, unprofessional customer service, not recommend to anyone send pet to this vet ! Waste time and money.cancelled our appointment without notification, I have no access to answer Yes to their robotic message system while I called them a day earlier and confirmed we will take our dog for vaccination . No any solution. Result is no any apologize and just send us to other vet. Unfriendly and negative service.My child with me, no shouting, just discussing option solution with the staff and no any apologize and no effective solution , just told us to go somewhere else in a rude way. not recommend to any one , poor service, not professional .

I have had my late cat attend AGVH for care over the last few months, and all I can say is they are excellent. For those in the local area, appreciate the service the whole team provide your pets when you take them here. Service hours are great and I've only had the best experiences taking my cat here.Highly recommended!

Every staff member at this clinic is so caring and friendly. The vets are so patient and thorough and I have complete trust in their service and abilities. We love this practise and would highly recommend to anyone.

I can't speak highly enough of this absolutely superb Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Laura and indeed EVERY staff member, each Vet and staff individually, are consistently exceptional in the most caring way. Each step that was required in attending to my companion Hush" over many years

My dog loves this hospital. The staff are doctors are very considerare and friendly. I like the way they treat her like a child. Also their advice are always good. They always let me know the upfront fee for her treatments, and I have a choice whether on dates for treatment.

I've been begrudgingly taking my dog here for years as it's so close to home, but have had enough of their poor attitudes. From the receptionist to the vets, they all seem to feel they're doing you a favour, zero customer service. On top of this I've always felt they're in it for the money and not love of the animals.

I recently changed to Aspendale Gardens Vet and am super happy. My dog had a bad experience elsewhere and was extremely nervous. The reception staff and the vets have really worked with Maggie (and I) to make visits way more positive. The care and kindness I have received from everyone on the team is very much appreciated. So glad I made the change and so is Maggie. Highly recommend.
