Bought the 16 year old sourdough bread it’s the real deal! Best thing since sliced bread. And we did opt to get it sliced! Also so cute up on the mountain, liked the signposting which originally drew us in. An authentic traditional bakery in a surreal setting.

This was our 2nd visit and won't be back, pies were burnt and had so much better, brought jam and creme donut plus vanilla slice, both were terrible, who doesn't use fresh creme, tasted stale as well, very dissapointing when u look forward to a treat and it's just terrible

Bread the way it should be - it's simple but fabulous. But you need to know this baker isn't an early riser so don't get there before 9:30 or expect to have it sliced until it's cooled enough at 11:30. Worth the wait though.

Nice hot pies! Good options with chunky pepper steak and steak and mushroom. Hot enough without being tongue burner! Enjoyed with the family at the local park a short walk away.

Excellent array of bread and cakesBe early for it otherwise you will miss out on the goodies! The sourdough is excellent having been made with a 18 year old stater dough! Worth the drive up the mountain for it!!

I’m giving these stars for the bread only as it’s the best bread we have ever had and is top notch quality, I cannot say the same about the meat pies, sausage rolls and pastry sweets. The caramel slice was inedible not even my kids ate it which is a shocker, the meat pies were very dry, over salted and the steak filling contained zero steak pieces just mush.All meat pieces and sausages were extremely over cooked / dry the bacon pieces on top were like little stones.The slice was so over sweetened it was sickening. Bread is the only good thing here.

Always try to support small local businesses but this was a major disappointment ... veggie pasty ... crust was so oily & over cooked ... veggies were all soggy ... like veggie soup .. the amount of salt was way over the topLaminton was goodWould not return

The steak pie I just had was overcooked and had so much salt in it I thought my arteries were going to crystalise. Terrible. They do make nice cakes though.

Walked past this unassuming little place a couple of times while staying in Tamborine. Finally went in this morning. Amazing selection of baked goods. Brought an apple strudle, which was fantastic. So much so my partner went back and brought a bunch more stuff for our lunch. The butter chicken pastie was amazingly good as was the vanilla slice. Absolutely fantastic store and well worth ducking into.
