Polished Nail Bar

Nail bar in the heart of Wahroonga with parking at the rear. After a horrible experience in Gordon, I called Polished to help fix my nails. They were half an before closing but empathised with my situation and booked me in. I had a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly, the nail technician was funny and kind. I was offered a bottle of water, and a heat pack for my shoulders, which was so relaxing. The nail technician did a great job of fixing up a bad job, and didn’t even blink when I asked for an extra coat of polish. They stayed open longer to ensure I received a great finish. All of the products are of a high quality, and I especially liked the cuticle oil. You are seated separately in comfortable chairs, and not in rows, there’s an aura of being in a spa, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. It felt like a treat. I’d say the salon owner is a bit of a perfectionist, because there’s a lot of emphasis on the smaller details. Definitely a 5 star review.

I have just had the most lovely experience at Polish Nail Bar in Wahroonga. Jacklyn (owner?) walked me through some options about my nail health as I had some concerns. I was given a heat pack for my shoulders during the treatment. Jenny, my technician was gentle, thorough and did a really beautiful job. I will be back. Thankyou ladies.

I've been going here every few months since the place opened. I used to love it as the people were so nice and the salon really is beautiful, not to mention the lady who runs it is absolutely lovely. But, unfortunately, the past two experiences have been very disappointing.In one session, the girl took over 2 hours to do a simple shellac manicure + removal and while my nails were in the acetone for the removal, she decided to rip off her false nails in front of me - one of them even hit me as she flung it off. I was disgusted and quite unimpressed with her behaviour.At my most recent appointment, a different lady took 30 minutes to do the shellac manicure + removal, and was in such a rush that she cut my finger with the nail file, causing it to bleed. When I pointed it out to her, she didn't care and then proceeded to put acetone on it - ouch!! She also filed my nails in circles without checking what I'd wanted, and by the time I'd realised what she was doing, it was too late. My nails hurt for a few days after because of how far she'd filed them at the sides.Also, the colour completely changed the next day. I'd gotten a bright pink and not even a day later it faded to a light orangey-pink that I didn't like at all. It was very strange as I'd never had that happen before.While the lady who manages the place was very nice when I explained what happened to her and even gave me a discount, which I greatly appreciated, I don't think I'll be coming back. I thought I'd finally found a place that was different from all the others and I'm pretty over spending large amounts of money to get my nails done, only to be served by people who don't care and are only doing the the bare minimum.

This is by far the best pedicure experience I have ever had. The staff were warm and welcoming with lovely touches such as coffee and hot stone massage as part of the service. I felt completely relaxed from beginning to end and appreciated the time and interest taken in helping to choose a nail colour that suited me. It’s now more than 2 weeks and my nails still look perfect! I would highly recommend polished nail bar and will definitely be back!

My Mum, sister and I went this afternoon for manicures. The staff were so professional and kind, and their attention to detail was wonderful. The team definitely go above and beyond to provide each customer with a quality, valuable and memorable experience. I highly recommend them and will definitely be returning.

So happy I found this place! Tracy is very professional and thorough. They aren’t just a quick in and out nail salon like you find in the shopping centres. Tracy was caring for the condition of my nails and has recommended appropriate intervals between full sets and infils. She made me feel comfortable and I trust that my nails will be in good condition whilst going to this place!10/10 service highly recommend.

Fabulous salon! Best nail experience I have ever had. Beautiful space, clean and everyone made me and my 8 year old daughter feel very welcomed. Lots of special touches from real coffee to neck heat packs to give you a real spoil. Quality far superior to anything I’ve had before, almost 2 weeks and not a single chip…will be back as much as possible!

I've been to this salon twice and have been extremely happy with the service and quality. Love that they use OPI as the dip powder as I find it lasts longer than other brands. The salon is beautiful and clean and it's a treat to get a coffee and heat pack during nail treatment. It's also super convenient that you can book online. Will definitely be back - it's by far the best nail salon that I've ever been to and it's a wonderful new addition to the Wahroonga village.
