Wuthering Heights Bed and Breakfast
Stayed at Bronte Manor with a group of friends. It's a rustic house with a fun, medieval vibe. Lovely provisions left for breakfast and a couple of bottles of wine thrown in. The inside is sweet and it's always lovely seeing the past life of the house and its owners with their collections of books and games. It does need some work both inside and out. There are a couple of window panes which need fixing and the outside is a bit of a dog's breakfast with weeds, piles of old stones around the fire pit, etc. It just feels as though the owners are so used to the place that they do not see what visitors see. It needs a wee makeover and tidy up to lift its spirits. Overall we had a gorgeous weekend with lots of fun around the open fire and a lovely walk on the Reisling trail.

If you want a rustic and romantic log cabin in a spectacular setting, this is the one. We stayed in Cathy’s cottage and loved the thoughtful way it was left for us, complete with little flower arrangements, lots of breakfast provisions and firewood, and even a flask of port. Everything you could need was provided, and the location was great We stayed at one of the other cottages 20 years ago and it was even more beautiful than we remembered. We will be back!

Beautiful property with eclectic cottages and one bigger house available. Cathy's cottage is very small and simple but on a cold Clare night really cozy. Our favourite place in the best wine region in South Australia.

Had an amazing stay here with my partner, 1yr old daughter and our dog. We all loved it, large private property to venture around, relaxing cottage that has all your needs covered and close to Clare town centre and surrounding winery's. Look forward to coming back. Thank you

Firstly we loved our time at this cottage but there were a few things about it that could have been better. We rented the Bronte Manor for two couples over the course of two days about a month ago. We found the directions to the property easy to follow and the location is beautiful! The cottage is so cute and has such eclectic furnishing, we adored it. When we booked, we were told in the email that the key would be in the door at 1pm, then the letter explaining the property said that check in was at 2pm, but then the website says 3pm, as we were confused about this, we arrived at 1pm since the email to us had specifically said that time. When we arrived they commented that we had arrived early, which made us feel rather uncomfortable since all the information listed had different times. We booked these cottages specifically to bring the dogs with us. We liked that there was an outdoor secure dog area, but on arrival we realized the dog space was very small and the dogs could easily jump the fence around it, we ended up having to leave them in the cottage and stop back a few times to let them out. When we booked we paid for additional firewood since it stated on the website there was only enough for the evenings. We ran out of firewood even after we had paid for additional, and we were out during the days and didn't have a fire going during those times. The cottage was covered in spider webs and dead bugs, which we understood this cottage is meant to be rustic but this was a bit much. The canopy over the bed in our room was just covered in dead insects. On the last day we pulled back the curtains of our room and saw the biggest red back spider I have ever seen, this seemed unacceptable to us and should be checked more. The Bronte Manor comes with a complimentary bottle of wine, ours was the 1997 Seven Hill blend. At first we thought wow 1997!" but after reading the bottle we realized it was meant to be drunk in 8 to 10 years
